Oh, how I wish I had a grand southern front porch, but I don't. I have a stoop. That's okay I can just spiffy it up the best I can for fall. I have added nature's bounty with more pumpkins, gourds, and mums. A couple of the smaller mums have not opened all the way. They say to buy them in the buds stage so I did. The two large ones I did go ahead and buy in full bloom. Here are some pictures of the front as it is now.
Mr. Savvy we need new pine straw, please.
Kim, do you ever rest? Everything is just beautiful...I love mums. We are in water restriction right now with the drought in our area and therefore, no mums this year...they would just die...bummer. I love what you've done.
ReplyDeleteLooks great Kim! I had to laugh about the pine straw...seems we always need some too. Cute basket!
ReplyDeleteKim, I have a stoop, I am here to tell you, this is not a stoop. :) It looks fantastic and I love that lantern too.
ReplyDeleteKim, Your "stoop" looks beautiful! Love the lantern and everything! I can't get enough of Fall decorations! Thanks for sharing yours. XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteLove your fall porch Kim!! So welcoming! You have such cute little details!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love your door decoration!
ReplyDeleteYour outdoor decorations are so beautiful! Your home looks so inviting!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful Kim, I just have a stoop too but I do the best I can with it:)
ReplyDeleteOh Kim!
ReplyDeleteYour porch is lovely! It looks like it is right out of a magazine. So pretty and inspiring. Your home says, "Welcome Fall!"
Beautiful Kim! I love your baskets!
ReplyDeleteWell, it definitely looks Southern to me. A Southern Welcome. Lovely Dahlin.
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful front porch, so nicely decked out for fall. Do you switch it out for Halloween and make it scary at all? Just curious......mums look good and are still blooming. Great job!!
ReplyDeleteLove it all, especially the BIG FAT pumpkin!!
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful, Kim. Love that flower basket on the door, such a gorgeous arrangement!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous porch display! I love the basket of pumpkins and gourds, and the wreath on your door is stunning. Love your porch lights and the lantern. Well done, Kim! XO ~Liz
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are gorgeous... ... Love the fall decor... Looks sooo vibrant and inviting... Hope to see you at the blog party (http://liventhingsup.blogspot.com/2011/10/itz-festival-time-2011.html) at my blog ;-) ;-)
ReplyDeleteWho needs a grand southern porch when your stoop is as gorgeous as yours?? I love your fall decor and the baskets used are so perfect, but girl get you some moss to tuck in the mums!
ReplyDeleteLacy
Having grown up in a row house in Philadelphia I assure you that you do in fact pretty much have a porch. Our stoops were never this big! Looks great and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful Kim! Love the baskets with the mums in them.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day,
Gail
the crates are a nice touch!
ReplyDeleteWhere do you find the time!!! Looks beautifull, we don't celebrate the seasons the way you do in the US and Canada, maybe I should do something for spring...will have to think and hope that this never ending rain stops soon....talk about breaking the drought!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing!:-)
ReplyDeleteYour porch may be small in size, but it really is quite grand and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou've done a lovely job of making fall beauty on the porch you have.
ReplyDeletejust remember- the more porch you have, the more decorating required to make it look good.
I am so glad I can enjoy your beautiful fall decor, since I am breezing right through this season on my way to getting ready for the Little Men's visit!! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Kim!!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a big porch too and a few times I have had a nice one...but let me say it is a lot less expensive to do a stoop, like we have now!! Your autumn decor looks just like a farmstand I was at in Concord Mass the other day...with all of those fantastic types of pumpkins and gourds and mums!
ReplyDeleteYour porch looks so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteYou have totally inspired me to go get some pumpkins and mums and redo mine ~
Thank you for sharing!
beautiful as always! love the doggie!!! I bought a concrete Yorkie at the beach a couple months ago and wanted to paint it. Seeing your pup, I now know what color I'll use!!! Happy Fall Kim!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful, Kim! You have a good amount of space, even if you don't have a porch, to do some lovely decorating. Love all your mums and I'd like to get at least one this year. I may have to pick up a pumpkin or two also, since I can't find my "Fall Decor" box!
ReplyDeleteVery Pretty Kim, I love the the little pumpkins in the lantern! Martina
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful entry to your home! Love those light fixtures, they must cast a lovely light @ night... Lovely fall decor!
All the Best,
Christine
Beautiful, welcoming Fall front porch! Love that basket on the door and the mums are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteKIm your porch is lovely! susan
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I love all the fall colors! The arrangement on the front door is really nice!
ReplyDeleteKim, your entry looks wonderful! Love the lanterns!
ReplyDeleteI love how you did your front entrance. I like all the colors and textures you have going on. That was a cute idea to put little pumpkins in your lantern on top of some raffia. I haven't seen that done before. I like your wheat sheaf you made too. It adds nice height and texture in the corner. I will say that I love having a porch, but when you decorate a stoop, it is more visible to the street (which I like). So, now you have a silver lining. My stuff doesn't show up from the street as well.
ReplyDeleteKim, What a beautiful, welcoming front 'stoop'. LOL You know I have a 'stoop' too. I'm loving the mums in the bushel baskets, but the thing I love the most is your door basket. Gorgeous! I'm a basket nut!
ReplyDeleteKim,
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty and inviting! I have a stoop too but mine is empty and boring at the moment. It is on my list for this week! Thanks for sharing!
-Shelley
Your fall front door decor looks fabulous, Kim. Love the 2 little pumpkins in the lantern. You have given me an idea to use a planter as a fall display. I noticed the burlap hanging out of it, too. You are the queen of detail!
ReplyDeleteAs always, simply beautiful! I would slow down and look at your stoop any day!
ReplyDeleteKim, I think you do have a grand Southern Porch... It looks fabulous...
ReplyDeleteLooking good!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great, Kim. I bought some in full bloom and you just keep pinching the old blooms off and they just keep blooming and blooming and blooming. You don't need a huge front porch when you have one as welcoming as this one.
ReplyDeleteYour porch looks beautiful!I love your baskets of mums.
ReplyDeleteKathy
Your front porch looks fabulous! I've been searching for cinderella pumpkins, but no luck. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and just get good ole regular pumpkins. Funny, I've never heard of pine straw up here. Everyone here uses bark mulch...perhaps because we don't have a ton of pine trees around?? not sure!
ReplyDeleteLovely Kim! The baskets and lanterns are a great touch. Well done. =)
ReplyDelete~ Catie
Love the dog poking through the pumpkins. Clever. Richard from My old Historic House.
ReplyDeleteIt's soooo pretty!!! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the little dog statue.
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful, Kim! So bright and festive ... love the baskets you incorporated. And, I feel your pain about the pine straw ... we need a top coating of mulch badly. ;)
ReplyDeleteKim, your front entry looks wonderful! Love all of the pumpkins and gourds. Such gorgeous color!! You always do such a great job with everything! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteKim, your entry is gorgeous. I love all the color and the pumpkins!
ReplyDeleteIt is just beautiful...even without a southern porch. You have invited fall in.
ReplyDeleteI, too, have a stoop. You have a very huge stoop, and it is lovely. Everything you've done is just perfect! Thank you, fall, for being here!!!
ReplyDeleteKim, your Loveky home looks well-loved; just what we'd expect from you! The new-born pumpkins are darling!
ReplyDeleteYour so wrong... just having a Stoop is a good thing! I only have a flat porch, and your stoop gives your decorations so much more dimension...
ReplyDeletelooks beautiful!
Sandy
Kim you don't need a grand porch to make us feel welcome!! Love your porch and all of its Fall touches!! Kathysue
ReplyDeleteKim, Your Fall decor is beautiful! I especially love the one hanging on your door.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sherry
Love Love Love it! You always do such a beautiful job decorating! I love the simpleness of it! Of course, I'm partial to fall decorations! Favorite time of the year but I wish it would get just a little cooler here in Texas.
ReplyDeleteYour front porch is so colorful and festive. It makes such a welcoming entrance.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to Potpourri Friday. I appreciate you!
Love your stoop! You do a great job decorating and photographing your projects. I need straw too!
ReplyDeleteDebbie
So pretty and welcoming!

Your porch is amazing Kim! I know it must make ya smile whenever you pull into the driveway! I know you must be able with finally having the fall temps! I know the in laws are.
ReplyDeleteYou and your sister....are always on the ball....does it count that I THINK about doing fall decorating????? Amazing porch for sure!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely GORGEOUS, Kim! I am INSPIRED after seeing your pretty fall porch!! I need to hunt down some big orchard baskets now. ;-)
ReplyDeleteStunning!!
ReplyDeleteFYI - I bought tight bud mums this year... giant ones. I've had them for more than a month and they are FINALLY starting to open this week. The weather has been great, and they get plenty of sun, so I don't know what they're problem was. I'm afraid the frost will come before the finish opening. Never again will I get them that way - open buds from now on.
Love it all!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and great curb appeal.
:)
