I Finally Found One

I have been wanting a plate rack somewhat like my sister's ever since she got hers a few years ago. Well, lo and behold if I didn't find three different ones when we went to the antique mall a couple of weeks ago. Now, I had three to choose from, but wasn't sure what would fit. I was wanting to put one in my breakfast room where the cow canvases are hanging. I went home and measured the wall and went back the next day to see if one of the plate racks would work. The smallest one was the perfect size, so I thought. It ended up not being able to go there because of the tall molding at the top of it. Good thing I had a backup plan if it didn't work there.


It is perfect over my chest in the hallway. Now I have a place to put some of my plates that have been stored away.

It is so hard to get a good picture here in this narrow area.

I love being able to put my collections out where I can enjoy them.





This is the only new plate. I found this at Home Goods the other day.

    I love it!! I have been trying to find one of the discontinued ones from Ethan Allen... Don't you love when you get something that gives you more display real estate??!!! It's perfect and your dishes really look like a designer came in and did that for you!!

    It's really pretty Kim, I happen to love plate racks too, especially the pretty Scandinavian ones.
    Although I use a Hutch in my dining room, plate racks are perfect for small spaces where there's no room for a Hutch but give that same hutchy feel. Is Hutchy a word? I think not! hehe, I love the style you chose, the molding is gorgeous as well.
