I haven't even shown y'all the bedroom after moving this chest in here from the great room when I replaced it with the drop leaf table. I do love having this chest in here.
I changed out the euro shams from the white ones to these quilted silk ones from Pottery Barn that I have had for years. The round velvet pillow in front is a clearance aisle find from Home Goods. This is the mate to the one I have in the sitting room.
I love the warm colors in here at night.
Changed out the light colored pillow on this chair to the brownstone quilted one that was stored away.
Basket of extra throws are added to grab on a chilly evening. The cane in the back belonged to Mr. Savvy's father.
This bench moved in here from the bathroom to replace the longer bench that was here that moved to the dining room. Did you keep up with all that?
Morning sun shining in from the front of the house.
Yep, loving the winter whites in here.
Now I need to get back to painting. I will be sharing these projects soon.

Our master bedroom colors/fabrics are very similar to yours. I just bought some great sports jackets at Goodwill and am going to use the fabric to sew pillows for the bed. I am hoping to create a Ralph Lauren vibe.

I love your winter bedroom, Kim. It's so warm, intimate and inviting! All of the different textures that you combined are wonderful too. My grandmother used to make pillows just like the round one that you found at HG. I think the pins that she used were only about 1" long - don't see how in the world she worked with them. Take care.
ReplyDeleteKim,
ReplyDeleteI found a horse print at GW and posted under Thrifty finds. Someone even mentioned hiding it from you. :)
Your room is beautiful, calm, peaceful and relaxing. It makes me want to take a nap.

ReplyDeleteI'm catching up to posts! This room is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour master bd.rm. is beautiful and bigger than all 3 of my bedrms. I can fit a queen bed, two tiny night stands and one antique dresser in my rm and that just gives enough walk space to get into bed. What a great job you have done on your decorating.
ReplyDeleteIt is very pretty Kim. Restful and dreamy. Thank you for linking it up with Home Sweet Home!
