One of my new finds came in handy on this rainy gloomy day. We have had rain for days.
I came across this beautiful etched hurricane. I love the pretty flowered detail on it and the candle glow shining through it.
I also found this pretty leaf dish that came from Paris.
Added some vintage books.
Some more vintage leather books to add height.
Threw in some old style keys.
I want to congratulate Marty of A Stroll thru Life for her 100th Tabletop Tuesday link party!
I think I have attended every party.
I hope you have sunshine where you are and please send some this way!

Heard there was an 8 car pile-up near our home and if we would have left for the airport this morning instead of last night we never would have made it ...whew...but that red eye is a toughy

Looks great, I especially love the keys!
ReplyDeletePretty vignette. I feel like we're living in a cave with all the rain and gloomy skies for so long. It's starting to make me feel claustrophic! I wish the sun would shine brightly tomorrow and the rest of the week, but I know that is just a dream.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just need to take a day for yourself. Shopping is a great way to spend it. HEHE.
ReplyDeleteLove how it all came together. Don't you love when you find something that looks great with all your other items?
Have a fabulous week,
Melissa
You always come up with the prettiest vignettes, Kim! I need you to come here and put some together for me. I'd lure you with the promise of sunshine, but sadly, it's gray and rainy here too :)
ReplyDeleteThe hurricane is fabulous. I think our part of Georgia is expecting sun in the afternoon tomorrow Thank God. It was pea soup tonite and I was driving in it.

ReplyDeleteI love that mirror! Such character.

Did I miss a post about the charming frenchman with the cow? I am in love with staffordshire cows right now and that was my favorite thing in the post.. yet no mention of it!
ReplyDeleteWhat's the story? Where'd you find it? I LOVE IT!
Jan
The books and the keys just add so much charm. Your vignettes are always beautiful!
