I know you don't ever hear me talk about any pink in my home decor, but I think a few touches are nice along with
touches of blue, yellow, green, red, and purple. This is Leila' favorite new toy that my sister gave her for Christmas. How does a mom with no girls know how to pick the best gift?
Enjoying a good book is always nice and having a dog sniff ya while you read.
Sitting on the foot stool, that is just the right size, pulled up to the table appears to be fun.
Blank look when asked to say "Grammy".
When you get tired of sitting at the table just use Grammy's lap.
Always good to watch a little Sesame Street and play at the same time. Learning to multitask.
Cute pink shoes waiting to be put back on after nap time.
This cute smile turned into a very red and tearful face after falling off the bottom stair. She didn't cry long though after Grammy swooped her up and gave her a big hug and her pacifier. She went home with a couple of goose eggs on her pretty forehead. Mom said she is fine.
Good to hear she is in the pink.
Have a super duper weekend!

ReplyDeleteI loved your little story to go with the pics. Leila is so darn cute. Time for a baby gate Kim!~ I love her little fingers playing on that keyboard thingy.
ReplyDeleteKim, she is darling. I can't believe how much she's grown! Time flies! Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh she is just precious. I am a "Grammy" too. I have a 6yr old grandson and a 2yr old, and the 2 yr old calls me "Gimmy." :) I am very excited that I will finally get to add some PINK to my house too in May. Have a great weekend. Blessings, Barb
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty she is! I used to get so upset about bumps and bruises when my son was little. Now I don't think he's ever without one!!
ReplyDeleteShe's a blue-eyed cutie pie. I have three daughters, so we've always had LOTS of pink around here. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteShe is incredibly cute and you can tell from the pics she's a happy baby. Can't ask for more than that.
ReplyDeleteOooh, what a cutie pie you have there. These are great pictures, and I love the story you used them to tell. My granddaughter has that purse, and I think it's so much fun myself. hehehe
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable and it's never too young to multitask! lol
ReplyDeleteI love how your sun room turned out!
Such a great room to sit in and blog!
She is such a cutie pie. I too have a little granddaughter. She is only 2 months old but is at my house 4 days a week while Mommy and Daddy work. I love every minute of it and can't wait for her to be a little older so she can run around and play.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! You could just posted photos of her each day, and I'd be happy to see them!

ReplyDeleteShe is so sweet...you just want to pick her up and squeeze! Enjoy your weekend, my friend! ♥
ReplyDeleteKim she is a little sweetie! I miss those days:(
ReplyDeleteOh I had no idea that she loved the toy that I gave her so much. That's so great to hear! I swear I'm soooo smitten with her (besides being her great aunt). I get so excited if I know I'm going to see her. I told Jimmy that I get my "girl fix" from her. I sooooo wanted to have a girl! Hopefully, one day I'll be blessed with granddaughters like you.
ReplyDeleteShe just gets cuter and cuter, Kim! I had mine over today and she was not a happy camper. Over tired and maybe some teeth bothering her, makes for a cranky baby that throws herself on the floor and cries like her heart is breaking! Kills me! She always seems to take out the messiest toys right when my daughter starts to pack things up to get ready to go.
ReplyDeleteShe is so stinkin CUH UTE!!!!!! YOu are blessed to have her. XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteSuch a doll and those eyes....wow!
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute!! You got some beautiful shots of her too! My youngest of three girls is just a bit older than this and I've enjoyed having those smiling little faces over the years.
ReplyDeleteKristen

ReplyDeleteStacy
Oh Kim she is so beautiful, really a stunner. We just got our power back on this afternoon, whew what a storm...I appreciate so much more now, and we had a generator!
ReplyDeleteStunner!
ReplyDeleteOK, I have to comment... us Grammies have to stick together. (Maybe if we were stuck together we wouldn't be such push overs huh?) Little SSS (Savvy Southern Style) is adorable! My 1 yr. old grand daughter leaves with clean ears when she is here, as my dog thinks when she sits on the floor he has to groom her.
ReplyDelete~Bliss~
What a cutie! And those eyes are just so big!
