You are reading my mind this is just what I'm thinking for my bath too. Can't wait to see the progress, hopefully it will motivate me! Thanks for sharing your vision.
I think photos 5, and 7 feel the most like your decorating style and would fit in nicely with the rest of your place. Anxious to see what you do come up with:)
Love your inspiration photos, Kim! I recently added beadboard wallpaper to one of our bathrooms as well! You have such great taste. I know the reveal will be beautiful!
I just redid my powder room with beadboard to get ready to sell, it looks fabulous. Especially when you compare it to the harvest gold tile and gold seashell sink we had before. Good luck Kim, it will be beautiful!
You will love the bead board! We have it in one of our baths and adore it. I am ready to repaint though so looking forward to see what you come up with for some much needed inspiration. Have fun!
Great minds think alike Kim! I'm working on a Jack & Jill bathroom right now and am hoping to give beadboard a try also. Can't wait to see how yours turns out - love the inspiration photos.
I love all those inspiration pics. I know what that common denominator is! I am still planning on painting mine in a very light grey, but have decided to remove the red wall art. I replaced it with the giant scrolled mirror framed in white that used to be above my mantel. It really opens up the room and adds some curve to the square shaped room. The mirror over the sink is being repainted white too. I replaced my bird pic above the toilet with a grey cow pic. I will replace the faucet and light fixture with a chrome or nickel plated one. I will tackle all of this over the course of this month so it will take a little while. I'm working within a budget, ya know!
I was going to comment about the common link. They are all beautiful but the last photo is my favorite. The colors, light and flooring. So pretty! I also love the wall color in the first photo! Can't wait to see it.
I had to call The Great Dane to come and look at your post. Our ensuite is pretty big and it came with beadboard halfway up the wall. I love the look of the cream and white and have been trying to explain to TGD what it would look like - and there it was. Thanks!
I share that common denominator in almost all of my Old Girls and our home. ;) Can't wait to see!! I am personally adicted to that look. blessings ~ tanna
They're all beautiful, Kimmie! Can't wait to see what you come up with. Now, I love your new profile snap! You're as cute as a button and just too creative! :) Be a sweetie, Shelia ;)
Love all that beadboard!!! In the last house I did a reno of the master bath and had the carpenter knock out the wall board between the 2"x4"....gave me 10 shelves at 3.5" deep in one section, perfect for bottles, puffs, razors, brushes, etc......covered it with a lace panel on a spring tension rod......very handy!!!
Kim such great photos for your inspiration! Whatever you do whether its with beadboard or paint or? your bathroom will be beautiful. You have such an eye and flair for decorating!!
Also on your comment on my 6th Day of Christmas you said you hadn't heard of that recipe before. I know that 'canned' biscuits is a real turnoff to some but in reality they don't taste like canned biscuits at all when you make them into donut holes and roll them in sugar or cinnamon and sugar. I've even put jelly in them. My children as and my grandchildren love them.
Thankyou for your love and support as you've visited my blog. It means alot to me. N.
So great to see your inspiration pictures as I have earmarked very similar photos for my powder room reno. I have a teeny powder room. One of my 12 of 2012 projects. Unfortunately a project that my sweet hubby cannot undertake so the carpenter is arriving next week..I cannot wait to see your finished project!
GREAT inspirational pics, Kim! I have beadboard in our powder room and the downstairs bath. I just LOVE it! Can't wait to see your room done. Now get that MrSavvy up off his keester and put him to work! xo Diana
I'm thinking you want a pedestal sink and beadboard. I think all the photos are pretty...although I'm just not going to use wallpaper ever again! My favorite is the second photo because of the color.
I am very late to visit and to say thank you for linking up to my Pinning and Singing party-I am so sorry! I had a great break over Christmas and am ready to start pinning and singing again in 2012! I love these pins and am so glad you shared them. I can see you also like wainscoting....I love it too!
Thanks again for linking up and sharing these great pins!
So I assume that you are definitely adding beadboard or batten/board to the walls. I am sure it will look fabulous. Hugs, Marty
