One of my recent etsy purchases is this cute transferware sugar bowl with the cutest topiary added to it from Nancy's shop. When I saw these I had to have one. Great price, too.
I love how she placed a tiny little bird on it.
I found these hunt scene bookends on one of our recent trips.
The framed taglios, that I won from Sherry's etsy shop, is leaning on a stack of vintage books against the mirror. I shared this in another location, but decided to move it here. I also painted the frame with French Linen and Old White Annie Sloan chalk paints. Hope Sherry approves.
I love how the new colors show the details of the frame.
I placed a potted preserved boxwood topiary in my old urn.
Just a few simple changes and additions for a new look.
We will be going to see "The Hunger Games" later today when Mr. Savvy gets home. I hope it is as good as the media is making it out to be.
Come back this weekend for a nice giveaway.
Happy Friday!

I don't know anything about Hunger Games, but my daughter read all the books and went to the midnight showing last night. She said she liked it and flew out the door for work, so that's all I got for 'ya.

ReplyDeleteWhile strolling thru an antique/consignment shop, I came across a gorgeous set of brown transferware...it was pricey, so I walked away..then changed my mind and raced back and bite the bullet a get them..Well, as I approached them again..they were being packed up!...

ReplyDeleteBeautiful vignette! I love the topiaries! Great use of a spare dish. My teen pre-ordered tickets and will be going with a friend this evening. I was surprised he was even interested, but I can't go with him, because he'd be mortified.
ReplyDeleteNancys topiary in the darling sugar bowl is so fab! I didn't realize she sold her transferware all decorated for home decor. Love your display set up~very nice.
