Yesterday I went to a new to me antique mall and found something that I will share in another post, but then on the way home my car decided to whip into the parking lot where the Ballard Designs Outlet was and I am so glad it did.
I went in not expecting to really find anything, but then there it was. I heard a choir of angels singing!
Oh, alright, not really, but I did find a bargain to just keep feeding my pillow addiction.
Do you see it?
How about now? One wooly pillow with le mouton, that would be sheep in English, in case you did not know, on the front.
Just look at all that yummy texture. This pillow is pretty large, too at 20 x 20. I didn't like the polyester insert that came in it so I just grabbed an extra down insert and switched it.
The down insert makes it so much fuller and fatter. I don't like skimpy wimpy pillows.
I thought Le Mouton would feel at home here under its cousins' pictures above.
This was the only pillow in the store and the regular price was $54.99. The outlet price was $35.99. That is a much better deal, but still not what I paid. No, no.
It was an extra 40% off for a grand total of
$23.99!!
Doing the happy dance here!
So thank you to my car for stopping at the right place at the right time.
I can't wait till Leila sees it and baaaaaaas at it. That is what she does every time she sees a sheep.

We finally sold our house and the new one has a room I want to transform into a sun room like yours... all it needs is a few more windows installed and it there! Any hoo, be ready for me to inundate your email box with tons of questions! Lisa

An outlet??? I've never even had a chance to step into one of the regular stores! I admired these from the catalog. How fun!
ReplyDeletecute pillow! I'm often jealous of the great stores you can shop at in the States! I wish we had one north of the border!
ReplyDeleteI love that pillow and what a great deal! It's a good thing we don't live close Kim because we would get into a lot of trouble shopping together LOL! Wish we had a Ballard outlet here.
ReplyDeletehow cool that your car just KNOWS to turn in there! I'm thinking one of these would be happy at my house too!
ReplyDeleteI think you bought the burlap fringe drapes? I can't wait to see for sure ...
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh... nothing like the feeling of finding something you love for an amazing discount!! Sadly, I don't live near a Ballard outlet... if I did, I think my car would be driving itself there a lot :)
ReplyDeleteThat pillow is fabulous and looks great under those pictures on the wall.
ReplyDeleteWonderful find...I agree.
LOVE that pillow. Isn't it funny how kids pick up on something like that and then do it over and over. When our son was about 18 mos old the kids would say (when we were visiting the farm)..let's go down and see the cows. They would traipse down to the barn and the cows would be out in the pasture and there would be one old horse standing there. So, until he was 3 he would say...oh..Cows..and make a horse sound when he saw them in the fields. Yeah...he is still crazy!
ReplyDeleteYou are a BAAAAAAd girl to tease us with your other find. xo Diana
Wahhh, why don't I have a Ballard Outlet? >: (
ReplyDeleteSo cute, I♥ Ballard...
...are those curtains in the sneak peek? hmmm
♥Linsey
Wonderful deal! Isn't it nice to find something you love for such a bargain? Looks great on your bench!
ReplyDeleteGreat pillow and even better price....we have a Ballards outlet down in Atlanta but they never have anything good or at a good price....maybe one of these days I will run into a great deal....
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Kim what a steal.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky.
Love it.
Kindred spirits--love a bargain myself and love that you got one too! That sheep pillow is too darn cute.
ReplyDeleteLove your new pillow. Yes! A down pillow insert is always sooooo nice!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteGreat find...Love it! Sooo cute. And I am with you about the skimpy, wimpy pillows...Don't like them. I love how with down you just give them a little fluff and they are back to their fluffy shape.
Hugs and Kisses,
♥Ana
I love that pillow and what a deal you got! I can't wait to see more of that sneak peek item too!
ReplyDeleteKat
Your car turns at BD outlet, mine at Home Goods:):) No BD around here or mine would be trained on that too:):) Love the pillow, Leila will love it too. XO, Pinky

ReplyDelete~Babs
That is sooo stinkin' cute, Kim...it looks perfect for your pretty house.
ReplyDeleteGreat buy on that pillow and how lucky you are to have a Ballard Outlet. I live about 40 minutes from a Ballard retailer but honestly the store is really dark and the displays are uninspiring. In the same mall is a wonderful Z Gallerie that blows it away.
