Our first day of sightseeing was in beautiful Mystic, Connecticut last Monday. We had picture perfect weather that day with a high of 68 so we just parked and walked up and down the streets as I snapped pictures. Today I want to share some shots of the old shipping family homes that date back to the mid 1800's with the beautiful original cast iron fencing and some shots of the newer homes around the water. Some of the fencing was covered in beautiful morning glories.
Now it is back to reality and time to do the laundry, mow the lawn and buy groceries. More pictures to come, but I don't want y'all to get sick of vacation photos. I also have a lot of blogs to visit.
Have a super Saturday

Fabulous! I still need to get to the east coast for some picture taking. I did a picture tour of the King William district in San Antonio, TX and it was also stunning. If you get down to Texas, check it out! -diane

What a pleasant surprise for me to see these photos. I live across the bridge in Waterford CT and my husband works in Mystic (hope you got a chance to visit the aquarium and village). I love seeing other people's perspectives of what is "my own back yard"
