My little front porch watch dog gets decked out in a burlap bow.
I added two rosemary plants and a bunch of scrunched up burlap to add some fresh greenery.
I did have a much larger lantern out here, but Mr. Savvy broke some of the glass when he put up the garland so I just have this one now.
Same door swag as last year that I added brass bells to and a burlap ribbon. I wish I was good at tying bows, but I'm not. :(
This year I added a Christmas tree with the based wrapped in burlap, too. I still may go cut some of my neighbor's magnolia leaves (I have permission) and add them to the garland or maybe not.
Same large wreath I used last year on the large window.

Kim, everything looks great! Love the burlap and the lanterns!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Love the Rosemary with the burlap!
ReplyDeleteI know what Mr.Savvy is getting you for Christmas! :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful, Kim. Your ribbons/bows look fine to me. The trick is to twist the ribbon after you make your loop and before you form the next one. Here's a site I found that gives pretty good basic instructions for several kinds of bows. http://www.save-on-crafts.com/howtomakperb.html
ReplyDeleteHope you had a good day- xo Diana
Very pretty Kim! Love your door swag!
ReplyDeleteYou have decked your halls ... or perhaps your porch and windows, and it looks fabulous. Love the dog, so sweet. Will Mr. Savvy fix your glass? Sometimes Mr. Redo takes a while, a loooong while to get around to things like that ;) Mary
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and welcoming...especially at dusk!
ReplyDeleteI'm getting ready to add a pop of burlap bows to my tree! Your's looks great. I wonder if we'll ever look back and wonder what in the world we were thinking to love the lowly burlap so much. I keep thinking my Grandmother would be shaking her head at this!

Just beautiful ! Espcially at night all twinkly ! Try turning your wreath or what ever you want the bow on upside down, and then tie your bow. When you right it back, the bow will fall nicely....
