When I shared my new dog painting the other day you may have noticed a vignette on the breakfast room table.
I just threw this stuff together after putting away the Christmas table decor with things on hand.
I just placed a few things in this vintage woven tray that has moved around the house. I just love using trays to corral things together.
I kept the Pottery Barn napkins out and set them on a stack of green cabbage plates.
Love my cow butter dish I found last year.
Two vintage style milk bottles wait to have milk or juice added for a tasty breakfast or snack.
The vintage scale may come in handy if you need to weigh your food. Not sure if weight watchers still requires that.
When I share my breakfast room table and chairs I get many questions asking how I painted the table and chairs. I didn't. I bought this set as it is a few years ago from a local home decor shop.
Next up will be the finished kitchen project reveal.
Have a super week.

Love your breakfast room vignette! It is so pretty! I'm having such a hard time finding a tray I like so I can do this. I feel like Goldilocks "this one is too big...this one is too small.." :)

ReplyDeleteSuch a happy and bright spot! Your scale, linens and cow are precious!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling vignette. LOVE LOVE LOVE the chippy red scale with the yellow table. I will have to copy this cherry centerpiece... do you mind?
ReplyDeleteThe nice thing about this time of year is that it gives one a chance to bring out the things that don't have a connection to any seasonal theme, and to just enjoy them. It's a rather 'quiet' time for some of the less flashy or important objects to shine.
ReplyDeleteYour cow butter dish is a favorite of mine. :) So great to meet you in person yesterday, Kim -- looking forward to spending more time with you!

Your vignettes are always so perfect and look so simple. When I did my mantel last week, I finished, went to bed and redid it all over in the morning. It just doesn't come easy to me.
ReplyDeleteI think I might have to paint my scale and then distress it. Your red scale is perfect.
This is really charming. Love the colors. I cannot wait to see what you have done in the kitchen with the green paint! I already know I will love it!
ReplyDeleteVery charming vignette Kim! Love the scale and bottles.

ReplyDeleteSO pretty, Kim...and I LOVE that red scale!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I stop in here I enjoy the post. Beautiful blog. Keep up the great job.

ReplyDeleteKim, you are a master at vignettes, and you seem to have an eye for picking out just the right things to pull it all together. Wish I had some of your talent! Maybe I can find that little cow butter dish on eBay? Love it!

My kitchen table was originally yellow...then I painted it white...then black. Now, I'm thinking I want to go back to yellow after all these years. I love the rustic sweetness it brings to your nook...so cheerful!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty vignette!!! XO, Aimee
ReplyDeleteI think this breakfast table is one of my favorite things in your house! It is so sunny and adorable, but I love that scale too! Your kitchen island looks great! I had to come down after the party and check it out.
