Thank you from the bottom of my heart for following along with me on this journey.
This is one of the photos from my very first post and boy has my home gone through some changes thanks to all the inspiration from your blogs. This chest now resides next to my bed in the master bedroom. That mirror was sold and I still have most of the items on top being stored in my hoarding room. If you missed my first post check it out here.
Right after I started blogging we got the call that our second granddaughter had been born and we made the trip to Nashville to see this little bundle.
Happy Birthday, Naomi!
Enjoy the weekend.
Happy 3rd birthday to you! It is always a pleasure to visit your lovely space in blogland. May you have many more years of happy posts :) P.S. Your granddaughter is beautiful. -Al

I have only met one blog friend and that is because she has a booth at my favorite local antique store. But, I have gotten ideas and inspiration from so many people. It is such a fun journey.

ReplyDeleteWow, Kim. Time flies!! Happy blog birthday! You should be so proud of what you've created.
ReplyDeleteKim,
ReplyDeleteWhen I first found your blog in September 2012, I called my husband to the computer to gawk at your "home tour" page. There were so many ideas, OF COURSE I had to keep coming back. I was a little intimidated by the caliber of decorating you exhibited, but I thought I'd link up to your party and give it a shot. Subsequently, I connected with other friends through WUW, and I've added so much inspiration to my home. So, thank you.
XO,
Meredith

ReplyDeleteHi Kim, Happy Blogversary. Love the beautiful images on your blog. I also love the idea of a hoarding room. I have to implement that.

Congratulations on celebrating your third blogging anniversary. You know, so many folks start out with great enthusiasm but within a few months they just peter off and their blogs die from neglect, but it seems they don't just disappear from the ether, they are sort of out there forever and ever. Rather disturbing, actually... Your blog has been an inspiration to me since I found it, maybe a year ago (?) I ooooh and aaaaah over your house and wonder what it would be like to live in such a place; and then I look around at my own joint and think to myself "it's not so bad, woman, get over it!" LOL! The gift that you and other bloggers of ongoing D-I-Y/design/decorating blogs have given me is the courage to try different things out around here and that it's okay to have an epic fail :) Epic fails can be fixed, regrets for never having even tried to get things together precisely the way you want -- well, those regrets can't be fixed. So, thank you very much for the inspiration, and I hope you are around at least another 30 years or so, because I intend to live at least that long and expect you to do so too, so I can read you every day.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteHappy #3! Time sure flies when you are having fun!
You are such an inspiration and mentor. Thank you!
Cheers to many more years!
All the Best,
Christine
