Once upon a time there was a bench.
That bench was a stinky piece, of not sure what material, when it first arrived at the Savvy homestead.
That bench had some coats of chalk paint added to it to cover up the stink and it even went outside for several days to sun. I think it liked the warm sun.
The smell finally got better and the first color the bench wore was gray and then it got a white wash, but then like so many other victims pieces around here......
.........it was painted one more time and got a nice new coat of red. Oh, how happy the red made the little bench.
Then a little sanding and some clear wax was added.
Even an old mason jar of yellow roses look better on the little red bench.
and the bench lived happily ever after.
Miss Bailey's pillow is even happier on the red bench.
Miss Bailey's pillow is even happier on the red bench.
Just making some small seasonal changes in the sun room.
Please be sure to come back tomorrow for another wonderful favorite room guest post. It isn't even part of the home.

ReplyDeleteYour home is beautiful as always!
