I had actually purchased it to go somewhere entirely different, but it wasn't right for that spot so in the bedroom it went. Only thing bad about these purchases is they are final sales.
Originally I had this old wicker chair in that spot that you can see in my winter bedroom.
Well, this wicker chair ended up in the spot that I had ordered the little tufted chair for and you will see what I am talking about in the future. I can't wait to show you.
I had put the other Kubu chair in here in place of the white wicker chair and never got around to showing it to y'all so here is how that looked for a short time.
When the chair was delivered I was surprised that it is by Safavieh. You aren't told the maker on Joss & Main. The chair may be cute, but it isn't a comfy chair. Good for putting on shoes though. The comfy chair is on the other side of the room.
So that's my musical chairs.
I want to say a huge thank you for your super sweet comments on my last post. Y'all are too kind and I look forward to the issue each month looking to see if I know any of the bloggers being featured.

Oh goodie! I can comment before the other 100 people!! LOL I wanted to first say congrats on the RH feature! WELL deserved! The chair is pretty....too bad it's not comfortable! But it makes a nice occasional chair and the color will work in several places in your home.....I bet that chair isn't finished moving around!
ReplyDeleteI always worry about purchasing things like this online because I'm afraid the size will be larger/smaller than I planned or it won't be comfortable. Too bad she isn't comfy, but she is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteWould love for you to share on Amaze Me Monday...
Blessings,
Cindy
I don't think I could order furniture online - at least things like chairs, etc. that you need to be comfy. I can't believe they don't tell you the brand!!! But like Cindy said above - at least she is pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe chair really is a cute style, I love the look in your room. Too bad it isn't all that comfortable. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteLooking fresh Kim!
ReplyDeleteThe chair is beautiful, but that's exactly why I have hesitated on buying upholstered furniture on Joss and Main. It seems like almost everyday I almost hit the buy button but the no return policy scares me too much. The only thing I have bought so far from Joss and Main is an iphone case. Lol
ReplyDeleteI do get nervous about those "no return policies"! But your room looks beautiful and I love the dog pillow too!
ReplyDelete-Shelley
What a handsome chair Kim. But I luv the pillow! 'Home is where the dog is'
ReplyDeleteBeautiful room.
Hugs, Gee
Hi Kimmie! Oh, your new chair is so lovely and I'm sorry it's not comfortable. Looks great with the throw and pillow!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and be a sweetie,
Shelia :)
Congrats on the RH feature Kim! How exciting and well deserved. Love this chair in your bedroom.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of the chair in your bedroom. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing and blessings to you, Patti
ReplyDeleteI've seen many pretty pieces that I liked from Joss & Main but I'm always afraid to order them since it's a final sale. The new chairs looks pretty in your room...I even loved the way the Kubu one looked in there.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks perfect in your room! It is fun when you can move pieces around your house. I seem to keep everything in its original spot, not much moving around goes on here. Love your master bedroom, so comfy and peaceful looking,
ReplyDeleteKathysue
It doesn't matter what chair you chose, the room is gorgeous. Like you said, you can always take a seat to put on a pair of shoes. It looks wonderful in the room. Hugs. Tammy
ReplyDeleteKim: You've probably told us before, but I can't find it. Do you mind telling me where you purchased the buffalo check bedskirt? I've been looking (unsucessfully) for a buffalo check or ticking in the same colors. I really enjoy reading your blog! It's one of the first things I do each a.m.!
ReplyDeletethat is a cute chair. too bad it isn't as comfy as it looks.
ReplyDeleteI love that chair in your bedroom! I believe it's perfect in there. The tufted back ties in with your tufted headboard. It's such a great color too. Looks just magazine worthy!
ReplyDeleteCindy, the bed skirt was a One Kings Lane sale. They do sell them from time to time. Just watch the sales each day. If you aren't a member you can sign up through my One Kings Lane on my sidebar.
ReplyDeletelooks like it's always been there Kim! Alhough, I am having a tough time choosing which one is my favorite chair since it all looks good in that corner!
ReplyDeleteNot comfy but indeed very pretty! I love that tall vase on your dresser, it has a really nice shape!
ReplyDeleteYour bedroom is so beautiful Kim! I really need to work on ours. I am slowly collecting pieces for it. Love the new chair. Sorry it is not comfy. I always worry about that so I have yet to pull the trigger an purchase ones in my cart. Also it is so much fun seeing all of our wonderful bloggy pals being featured!! Hope your day is going well!:)

I love it- the color, the tufting- so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteYour chair looks great! It definitely seems a versatile piece since I know how much we all like to move everything around the house. lol
ReplyDeleteYour bedroom is always so beautiful & cozy looking.
I think the chair looks great. More inviting--even though I'm a sucker for wicker! I get suckered in to Joss & Main a lot! It's those credits they wave in your face...And of course it's all final sale. Sometimes the merchandise doesn't look as the website represents, but I like how your chair looks. It looks like it cost a lot!
ReplyDeleteThis room is so peaceful! Love the chairs and I also constantly do house tweaking with musical chairs. Great find and score!
ReplyDeleteIt is a real shame the chair isn't comfortable cause i love it in here! It is so pretty and looks like it just BELONGS i your bedroom. XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteOh, sorry to hear that it is not that comfortable....but it is pretty though!!...Well the musical chairs is definitely the game for you, as you have found great homes for them...OK...so when the music stops and you are holding the chair, is that where the chair ends up?....I think I will try that game...it seems to work for you! :)
ReplyDeletemusical chairs, thats so cute. I love the pillow too, every home should be dog friendly in my book! Your bedroom is so cosy I love the color palette you use, so soft and warm, I also smile everytime you say ya'll, that is so sweet, you have a beautiful home,
ReplyDeleteGreat chair, and great purchase.
ReplyDeleteYour bedroom is so lovely. I like how you put everything in the bedroom.
Julie
So gorgeous room you've got! The chair looks pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely chair. What a shame it isn't comfy. At least it can sit there and look pretty. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteI love moving things around and trying unexpected spots for furniture. Your chair is lovely and since it's uncomfortable it will stay in perfect condition! Ha! I also love decorating with pillows too, such instant gratification! I love your dog pillow. Congrats on the magazine article in Romantic Homes, very exciting!
ReplyDeleteJenna
Your new chair sure is pretty, but sorry it's not too comfy! Guess it's like wearing heels...sometimes you have to forgo comfort for good looks! :)
ReplyDeleteBecause I'm silly I got a thought in my head of you and Mr. Savvy playing a round of musical chairs.
ReplyDeleteBliss
Love the chair Kim, I love the tufting.
ReplyDeleteCynthia
Trying to catch up on my reading, Kim. I've never ordered anything from Joss & Main. I really like the style of the chair. Too bad it isn't comfy. I'm looking for a pair of tufted slipper chairs for my music room.
