And then there was a certain little two year old granddaughter who likes to color on the little table and the crayons were missing the paper some of the time and the little white tabletop had crayon marks all over it.
Of course no piece of furniture is safe from Grammy's paint brush. So of course you know what happened.
The table top was painted with Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint in Tricycle Red. Oh, and the handle, too.
Now when that two year old sits here to color her mishaps won't show up so much.
Now she can work to her heart's content on masterpieces like this (with Grammy's help).
And did you notice my new Dash & Albert rug? I told y'all when I shared the sunroom last time that I was on the hunt for a rug and I am so glad I chose this one. I have always loved this rug since I first saw it on the Dash & Albert site.
Be sure and come back tomorrow for another guest poster's fab favorite room.
Love the finish and that rug really pulls the room together especially with those plates hanging on the wall. Have a wonderful day kim!

ReplyDeleteI love the little table with the red top and handle. Are you able to keep Leila confined to that spot with crayons? My 18 month old granddaughter has discovered crayons (thanks to mothers morning out)and I have trouble with her wanting to run all over the house with them. ReplyDeleteThis room just keeps getting brighter and cheerier! Love that wonderful rug. My hubby would have that all muddied up and dirty in no time, you must have yours trained better than I do :) Thanks for thinking of us here in Tx, it was a stressful night. Several hours of sirens going off, high winds, and pounding rains. Cleared the closet out and almost got in a few times. We're 60 miles from Granbury, it's a wonderful old historic community, we will all be looking for ways to help them recover.
ReplyDeleteRed...what a great way to camouflage little coloring mishaps...The blue check rug is perfect in this room.
