I will find you.
Did you go this way?
Oops, I've been caught!
Oh, mom, can I please please play with the frogs?
Oh, I think I see you.
Last week after working in the yard all day I decided to let miss Bailey come out for awhile since she hasn't been able to play outside much do to poor weather. She was beside herself. She automatically goes down by the pond when she is let out. Well, I had just finished weed whacking all the tall grass and weeds around the pond and most of that falls in the water. Bailey was walking around the pond's edge and making the frogs jump in. Next thing I knew a big frog leaped in and Bailey jumped in right behind it. I couldn't believe it. She has no fear of the water except when it comes to me washing her head. I'm always telling her not to get in the pond since that means a mess in her hair and a bath. Well, she was having so much fun and the damage was already done so I grabbed my camera and took these shots.
BAILEY, I TOLD YOU NOT TO GET IN THE POND!
Now, it's bath time you dirty dog.
What precious pictures of Miss Bailey. Thank you for sharing such sweet pictures of your baby. We've had some sunny days here in Alabama, too. Nice to be able to get out in the yard.

ReplyDeleteSooo cute!! Looks like miss Baily had fun! Lynda
ReplyDeleteshe's such a cutie. I'm sure in the long run, she thought that bath was worth the frog chasing adventure!
ReplyDeleteKim,
ReplyDeleteBailey is so adorable. How sweet this post made me smile.
Kris
Never thought that those doggies where water dogs but I guess they are as well...LOL She is just to cute. Glad she had fun and I am glad you got the pics to show it. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh no!!! I saw the photo of her in the water and squealed! See that is something Master Vic would do. With all the rains we have been having, we have had a couple of frogs ( maybe toads, I confuse the two)near the front door and every time he goes out it's frog seeking time.
ReplyDeleteYour Bailey is so adorable though :-) Happy showering Bailey.
Hugs, Gee
Do you ever worry that she might get bitten by a snake?
ReplyDeleteHard to be mad at someone so cute.

ReplyDeleteChasing frogs. Such a fun thing to do. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh Emmett would have jumped in right after her!
ReplyDeleteKelly
TOO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteMiss Bailey is just adorable all wet and skinny.
What a sweetie she is!
My hubby gets upset when I let our dog into the pond, it means he will have to give her a bath. She's a 75 pound German Shepard. I think it is so hot out they need to cool down, so I let her anyway and just listen to him complain. I think he now has decided If I let her in the water, I have to give her the bath:(
ReplyDeleteSo sweet... adorable!!
ReplyDeleteMiss Bailey is clearly having a good time! My dog has never been swimming, but I know she would love it!
ReplyDeleteShe is so sweet and had FUN!!! How did the bath go:):)
ReplyDeleteBailey is such a cutie! I've had 2 yorkies and neither one of them would go near the water! But then again, they were afraid of everything!
ReplyDeleteOh...she was having a good time just being a dog. So cute!
ReplyDeleteHa! I'm glad she didn't find a snake or snapping turtle!
ReplyDeleteOur Yorkie-Poo wouldn't go near the water and hated her baths, too. :)
I love dogs that love the water. What a good little hunter!
ReplyDeleteI just love miss bailey-love dee x
ReplyDeleteI love miss bailey ...I am thinking of getting a yorkie for my little boy-love dee
ReplyDeleteThe great frog hunter -lol. She is so cute.
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable! You just put a smile on my face and improved my grumpy mood! Loved this post!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness...she is adorable in the water! Jump froggy, jump!
ReplyDeleteOh, that little booger Baiey! She was having a great time , I can tell and frog hunting is so important! Hope you're doing well.
ReplyDeletebe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
too darn cute. xo
ReplyDeleteLOL- Gotta love it when you see her having that much fun...and it's not all the time so it's not so bad! My youngest son seemed to be like that with mud puddles. He would look for the deepest ones and walk right through them. I made him hose off more than once outside before he came in. lol xo Diana
ReplyDeleteToo cute...playing in the pond!! Neither one of my Yorkies will get in the water and they don't like getting baths either.
ReplyDelete~Cindy
Thanks for the smiles....!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking it was a case of doggie see doggie do (not that kind), so can you get a kangaroo because I wanna see her hop after it!
ReplyDeleteBliss
I'm glad that Bailey had such a good time that she'd risk that bath!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes a girl has to do what a girl has to do.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that Bailey had such a good time that she'd risk having to take a bath later on!!
ReplyDeleteBailey just lost control and did what came naturally and you were a good mama to just go with it. My aunt had a pup like Bailey that she called Binky because he was so small...what a cutie.
ReplyDeleteOh girls just wanna have fun!!!!...Just love her expressions!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little water baby! I can't believe she walked right into the water like that! I used to take my golden retrieve to a nearby swim. I'd put him on one of those 30-foot leashes and he'd swim and swim, not realizing he wasn't getting anywhere. He enjoyed it all the same. I love being out in nature with dogs and children. So much to explore! Enjoy! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteBailey is just the cutest thing ever! I love little Yorkies. My friend has one that only weighs 5 lbs that I cuddle every chance I get. Looking forward to seeing you again in just a few days!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha, we can't keep our puppy out of the lake either...although he prefers to chase turtles since they are an easier target :)
ReplyDeleteCute pictures! Bailey seemed to have a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteLOL she is so funny and cute ( and I love the new painting going on too! :)
ReplyDeleteToo cute!!
ReplyDeleteThis one made me chuckle. How cute! I'm sure she had fun, but I wonder if she still thought it was worth it after you got her in the bath? :)
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Oh how prescious!! She's having so much fun! My 5 lb Natalie doesn't like to get wet so I could never see her doing something like this. Thanks for sharing : )
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet pictures. Miss Bailey is a Terrier, isn't she? I understand they are very adventurous once they decide to follow their "prey." Thanks for sharing the photos!
