While y'all are reading this (I hope my scheduled posts publish) I will be on my first day in France.
I have been dreaming about visiting France for a couple years, but Mr. Savvy has no desire to travel overseas again so when this "shopping the brocantes" trip came up I knew I wanted to go. I also knew that I had to save up the money to shop with since it is a shopping trip. What a better way to see the French countryside than to stop at the brocantes/flea markets? So every month as my pay days came in most of them went into savings which was so hard for me to do. Y'all do know I like to shop don't you?
But I did it!!
I can't wait to shop for things like French linens.
Lots of dishware.
Oh, and checks. Y'all know I love checks.
The main thing I am on the hunt for is a real French farm table if the price is reasonable.
Cat of Sunday Brocantes is our France host and Kim of The Beautiful Home is the US host and they have put together a fabulous tour.
If you want to see where I will be each day just check out the Itinerary.
While I am away I won't be on the computer, but have a few scheduled posts. The Wow party will hopefully go up when scheduled next week so please join and I will be able to look at it when I get back.
The first three and last photo were borrowed from my friend and host's blog A Beautiful Home.
I have dreamed of going on that trip! Congrats and soak up every second. Paris is my favorite place on earth, so I'll be following closely!
