Our trees still have some leaves on them and have been really pretty this year. This is the prettiest I have seen our Japanese maple by the pond in a long time. It usually never holds the leaves this long.
When I came home from running errands the other day I just had to grab my camera to capture this beauty. These shots were taken from my driveway in front of the house and the maple is on the other side of this huge hackberry tree, at least that is what I was told it is called.
I just wanted to remind y'all that I am taking a little blog break this week. The Wow Us Wednesdays party will go up at 8pm eastern time Tuesday night and I want y'all to share any posts from Christmas' past that might inspire us with some ideas. I know many have already decorated, but I really want just past posts this week. Then next week you can show off what you did this year.
I hope y'all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy time with your family and friends. Safe travels to those who will be on the road or in the air this week.
And a very Happy Birthday to my daughter today!
See you back here Tuesday night!
