If you have read my blog for any length of time you know I have a weakness for pillows, checks and plaid among many other things.
I shared a few things that I found at the Country Living Fair with you the first day, but a couple more things came home with me the next two days.
The red plaid pillow from French Laundry Home and the old tattered quilt on the back of the sofa had to come home with me since I knew I could use them in a couple of different spots. I didn't know French Laundry Home sold at the fair. I have one of their small pillows in my master bedroom that I bought from One Kings Lane. They also sell in Neiman Marcus, but the prices at the fair certainly weren't Neiman Marcus prices and each day the prices were dropped at the fair.
I love finding old quilts now especially if they have colors that work with my home.
I really don't mind that there are holes with the stuffing coming out. I will probably just get some patches to fix those spots.
After I added the quilt and pillow some things were shifted around and I realized I had several patterns going on in this room.
But since they are all in the same colors and the patterns are the right sizes they all work together.
I think I counted ten different fabrics/patterns in here and that is counting the quilt as one.
Do you easily mix patterns or is it difficult for you?
Swoon :) Everything I love!

I of course love the quilt, and love all the colour, especially the red, in your sunroom!
ReplyDeleteI mix patterns but not as many in one room. We love sleeping under quilts. I have several that were made by family - love them.
