Anywho today I am sharing the foyer in it's Christmas finery which is just some greenery, pine cones and woodland critters to keep with the theme this year.
Again using mostly what I already owned except for the deer.
Isn't it cute? I saw it at the Pottery Barn outlet and it was marked down so in my cart it jumped. Yes, they have carts at the outlet. :)
I tied the Christmas ribbon around its neck.
I pulled this green basket out of my, ahem, hoarding room, and filled it with greenery and pine cones.
This is the same wreath I used last year, but I dressed it up with a red plaid bow and a clip on cardinal.
My favorite look is in the evening with the lamp on.
Be sure to come back tonight for Wow Us Wednesdays.
See you there!
Oh I know by now you were hoping the foyer would have that beautiful piece in there…but it will be worth the wait…I love that lamp on the table!….and of course the deer too…I have Pottery Barn bucks burning a whole in my pocket…You have great stuff in that hoarding room!!!
ReplyDeleteI always love your foyer and that Deer is adorable! I can't wait to see your new acquisition when Custom's stops using it in their foyer....LOL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Kim, I can't believe how long it is taking to get your things. That sure has been a long process and I bet you are ready for it to be over.

What a nice Christmas greeting coming into your foyer! Just beautiful... as always! Boy, it's taking a long time to get your loot from France! Well, hopefully you will have it early in 2014!
ReplyDeleteYour entry looks wonderful, Kim. I'm sure you are disappointed that your French piece didn't make it in time for the holidays, but maybe you can bring in the New Year with it. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your deer from the PB outlet as well as all your other woodland touches in your foyer! Just remember-all good things come to those who wait! (At least try telling yourself that, anyway!) We're all chomping at the bit to see your new acquisitions as well!
ReplyDeleteYour home is beautiful. I would love to know where you got the long leaf pine needle wreath, it makes me terribly homesick but I would love to have one!
ReplyDeleteFrom Baton Rouge living in Seattle.....

I so enjoy your creativity, focus and generosity of spirit (I recently emailed you about the fabric you used on the entry table, you responded within hours) May you have the very best and most Merry Christmas! Your foyer looks lovely Kim!
ReplyDeleteYour foyer looks so beautiful Kim.
ReplyDeleteToo bad your buffet didn't arrive in time for Christmas, but your foyer does look fabulous. I think you are definitely in a "deer" mood, and he looks perfect on your current buffet. All the natural decor is just so pretty. I wish there was a PB outlet near me...although that could be dangerous!
