I was hoping to share my French farm table with you all dressed for Christmas, but nope still don't have my things yet. Hopefully any day now. I hope after Christmas. It would be a mess trying to bring that stuff in here now when I am getting ready to host Christmas eve.
This is one of the other tables we will be enjoying some yummy chili on Christmas eve. I will also have to set a table for four and a child's table this year for my three granddaughters. There will be 19 here in all.
Still carrying my woodland theme in here, I filled this old tool box with greenery, pine cones, birds and a candle.
The cardinals are cute clip ons I found at a Christmas shop at the outlet mall.
There is one sitting on a branch at each end of the box.
Here are the plates that started this table setting. When I saw them at HomeGoods they had to come home with me. I didn't need them, but we know how that goes.
I bought the luncheon plates last year also at HomeGoods. See how well they go together? They are made by the same company.
And again these poinsettia bowls were also bought a couple years ago at HomeGoods. I have the poinsettia bowls at the each end of the table.
And the green soup bowls from the Williams Sonoma outlet at the other spots.
The plaid place mats were bought last year on sale at Pottery Barn.
The plaid napkins are April Cornwell found at the Christmas shop at the outlet mall. I love how the two plaids work together. the bamboo flatware was found on sale at Needless Mark Ups Neiman Marcus. I don't ever shop that store, but ordered these on line when they were 40% or 50% off.
These are my favorite Christmas ornaments that I have had for many years.
A white pine wreath, like the one in the foyer, hangs on this window.
Now I just need to make two big pots of chili this weekend. Chili is always better reheated.
Enjoy your weekend and if you aren't back visiting anymore I wish you and yours the best Christmas ever!
I absolutely love your dining area. It has a great feel. By the way, I purchased the same bamboo flatware and love them. I like the way you styled the table too! Perfection...
