Instead of a guest blogger today I am sharing my own favorite room to decorate this year for Christmas. Can you guess which one? Yep, the farm house style guest room.
This is the room I like to let loose and have fun in.
I hear you laughing at my sign. I cannot do fancy artistic writing like some of you.
But hey I did the best I could and the piece of chalk broke three times. :)
I love adding my red velvet Pottery Barn pillow shams each year and aren't the plaid shams cute?
The cute little snowman pillow is new this year, too. I was going to use it in the sunroom, but it worked out better in here.
I popped this tiny faux Christmas tree in this vintage kettle and added some red striped ribbon also from France.
I filled this wire basket with red and white ornaments and placed it on the red bench at the end of the bed.
I added the rooster picture, that used to hang in the kitchen, to this corner.
I love my new pillow cover I ordered from Sutton Place Designs.
I saved these two Christmas decor books from last year.
Another homemade snow globe in a vintage mason jar.
And I love to bring out this very old quilt made by Mr. Savvy's late mother many years ago. It is ratty and torn, but will always be cherished.
Yes, have a very Mooy Merry Christmas.
I still have more to share so come back this weekend if you have time.
Enjoy the weekend in this very busy time of year!
Wow love this room, can I come and stay a while? LOL Thanks for sharing hun and Happy Holidays.

ReplyDeleteYour farmhouse guest bedroom looks wonderful, Kim, as does the green guest bedroom in the previous post. The vintage quilt from Mr. Savvy's mom is a treasure for sure. Love the pretty pillows, especially the snowmen and the one Anne made. Enjoy your grandchildren and family this holiday and Merry Christmas!
