The walls are finished and now I will start freshening the trim.
Many of you asked what color? I am using Linen White by Benjamin Moore paints.
Same color as this guest room except there are no windows in the hallway I'm painting so it may not look quite as bright.
Bye bye yellow.
Back to work.
Enjoy your day.
Sounds exciting and I know the new color will be perfect!! Happy New Year Kim!!! xo

Pretty color, Kim! And a good way to stay busy indoors! I am going to be painting soon, too...I've been spending my days peeling wallpaper...fun.
ReplyDeletegreat day to be painting.

ReplyDeleteKim~
That is a beautiful color Kim!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen anyone paint as much as you do. It's great exercise and it always looks terrific.
ReplyDeleteBM Linen White is a great color! It looks so good in your hallway. My project today is taking down the Christmas tree and rest of the decorations. I haven't even thought of a new project yet. Well, I've thought of one, but that's as far as I've gotten. Where do you get all your energy? :)
ReplyDeleteLove that linen white color! The bedroom is adorable!
ReplyDeleteBM Linen White - the best creamy white ever!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteSuch a great color choice for this area! In our previous home, almost all the walls were a similar yellow to yours. I loved it at the time, but I'm really liking lighter neutrals now. Of course painting would be your first project of the new year!
It looks so fresh and bright. Great choice.
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT… I did the same thing to my entry way. Deb calls our paint color BORING BEIGE, but I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteOooo, I love that color and it's going to beautiful with your floors! Have a great week!

New paint in all of our living areas is on my to-do list this year. Yours is looking great!
ReplyDeleteThat white color is much better. I bet you're happy having that yellow gone now.
ReplyDeleteI love the new color, Kim. Is Mr. Savvy helping with the painting or is this all you???? I could never convince my hubby to paint right now.............
ReplyDeleteLove the lighter color!! beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Kimmie! Love the new color. Do you ever get tired? :)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
You don't waste any time! I've got lots of painting to do this year, but I don't have the energy to jump in yet. Your hallway is already looking so much brighter!
ReplyDeleteLooks great Kim. So fresh and bright!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Kim!
ReplyDeleteYou are unstoppable! One would think that your house is COMPLETE!! But, you are always up for something new and exciting and I know how much you love to tweak things. The colour looks great; very fresh and crisp!

Love the change, that just goes to show you that the lighting has so much to do with how we see color. That is the same color as the bedroom but with no natural light it looks so different. Love my new lighter color on things. :-) Thanks for sharing Kim and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteLove the light, bright color! A great way to start fresh in 2014!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it all done Kim!
ReplyDeleteI like that new colour very much.
ReplyDeleteLove this new color much better. I'm done with the yellow on walls, too.
ReplyDeleteLinen white is one of my favorite stand-by's. It looks right no matter what the lighting. I want to retire my gold walls. Looking good, Kim!
ReplyDeleteI am reading some of these backwards to catch up…..I used Linen White when I first moved in my house! It is such a pretty color.
