I didn't just buy large pieces while in France last September, but I picked up some smalls, too. After my shipment arrived I added some of my finds to the hutch in the master bath and of course that led to completely redecorating it.
I lucked up and found some wonderful apothecary bottles and jar.
I placed the apothecary jar and the large clear bottle on the top shelf with a glass canister filled with French soaps.
The white apothecary jar was a very good price because it had a crack down one side that had been glued. I don't care that it isn't perfect and I knew no one would see it anyway. I filled the jar with cotton balls.
Part of the label has worn off on this bottle, but that just adds to the charm.
Now, when I saw these in a shop in France it was like be still my heart. These are the prettiest blue and are in perfect condition. The store owner said it is very rare for the stoppers to even be with bottles this old. These were pricey, but I would have regretted leaving them.
Of course there were other changes using items I had. I added the enamelware sign on a plate stand. The vintage food mold is holding a sack of dried lavender.
White fluffy towels and one vintage linen trimmed in blue.
I love having photos of our grandchildren in the master bath where we can see them daily.
I took down the items I had on top and added this vintage basket that I already had.
I am loving the new additions.
