My vintage Belgium bulb basket holds a big fluffy throw.
I use this large old basket to coral things together on the coffee table.
This one used to sit tucked in the fireplace filled with hydrangeas.
This large vintage market basket holds old quilts in the guest room.
I have several more basket ideas pinned on my board in pinterest.
I cannot express my gratitude enough for your kind comments yesterday regarding my anniversary post. It was fun to read how many of y'all also got married young or on a rainy day and are still married many years later.
Have a beautiful Sunday and be sure to come back tomorrow for a giveaway!

I have a lot of baskets, too! I made the mistake of taking my daughter's shower gifts (for the new baby) in one of my HUGE old baskets...and, of course, she asked if she could keep the basket. Well, it is hard to say NO when you have a ton of other ones....lol. I kind of knew it wasn't coming home with me when I packed it up with gifts. Love the Vintage by Nina! xo Diana ps. Did you see her Christmas book?
ReplyDeleteGreat post, love all of your baskets too. Hugs, Marty

ReplyDeleteThirty years ago, we had a neighborhood craft group, all novices of any craft. Some how, we made three different styled baskets at separate meetings. To me, these three are priceless. I also have purchased many baskets over the years and use them when entertaining and in decorating

Oh boy do I love baskets! Really, can you ever have too many?! My husband is always giving me a hard time about baskets and pillows. Really, his life wouldn't be the same without them, I'm sure! ha!

ReplyDeleteI love baskets too and have been pulling some out and decorating here with them. I used to collect them and had SO many. So glad I didn't get rid of all of them. Loved that first shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yours are so pretty!

ReplyDeleteYou are right! Who doesn't love baskets, they are beautiful and also purposeful! I know I have far too many and yet not enough!
ReplyDeleteKim, I love baskets too and use them in various ways around the house. I admit though that I parted with some at my fall garage sale. They were in the attic and it was time to let someone else find a use for them. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI missed your post yesterday so I want to send Best Wishes to you and your hubby on a long and happy marriage!! We are at thirty-two and it seems like yesterday. I guess time does fly when you're having fun!!
ReplyDeleteI love baskets because they manage to be beautiful and useful at the same time, a really good point when you live in a small house.
ReplyDeleteI have a thing for baskets too. Everytime I walk in with a new (old) basket, my hubby just rolls his eyes. lol There are just so many uses for them.
ReplyDeleteI love baskets too. I used to have a basket tree. It was a made from an old coat stand and I just ran the pole of it through the basket handles. I can't remember why I got rid of it, but now I wish I had it back. I love to find baskets at yard sales and flea markets. I use them to hold everything. When my youngest was a baby I even used one downstairs to hold his diapers. haha
ReplyDeleteI love baskets, too, and always am tempted to buy them. They add a lot of warmth to a room, and they're great for hiding things!
