Forgive how dark these old photos are. Thank goodness I have a better camera and better photography skills now.
I am amazed that so many of you have been with me since the beginning and I have so many new ones joining me here almost daily. Many many changes have taken place in my home over the last four years. This photo above is from my very first post. My, how the foyer has changed over that time. Y'all know I am the crazy lady always tweaking, changing, painting, and rearranging and y'all are the crazy ones who keep reading and I thank you. Many friends from the past have started blogs and then later quit blogging. Blogging does take a huge amount of time and I totally understand those who have decided not to keep it up.
I never in a million years ever dreamed of making money from blogging, but boy it sure is nice. If I had not been making anything from blogging I would not have afforded to find the bargains that I do or to have made improvements in our home the last four years and I surely would not have been able to travel to France last September. I did a lot of saving to go on that trip.
But the absoulute best thing I have gained from starting this blogging venture are the friendships that have been formed. Nothing is better than that!
THANK YOU so much to all of you who come back day after day. If it wasn't for y'all there would be no blog. I hope y'all will hang in here with me until either the house is done, are they ever, or I just run out of ideas to blog about. Hopefully that is down the road.
Thank goodness I was able to do a lot of updates as my tastes have changed somewhat. I still love French country decor, but also with a mix of farmhouse and a little industrial thrown in. Most all the walls have been lightened except for one guest room and the master even though it was lightened up two shades from where it was.
I love that the blog is like a life journal and I can look back at where we were and how things are now.

I hope y'all will come back tonight and share your creativity at Wow Us Wednesdays!
