Woof, Bailey here. I know most everybody is sick of seeing snow and being stuck inside, but I'm a southern dog and I'm still not quite sure what all this cold white stuff is. If you don't want to see me checking this stuff out then you can move along.
I think I've picked up a scent here.
Nope, I lost it.
Oh, wait maybe it's over here.
Wow, I have a lot of territory to investigate.
I think I may be getting cold. Mom, is going to be mad cause I have lots of white frozen things hung in my coat.
I better get back to checking more of this stuff out before she makes me go in.
Mom, screamed at me when I almost went out on the street. It was hard to tell where the yard ends and the street begins so I didn't know. Thank goodness most people stayed home. Normally our road is like a freeway.
Wait....there it is!
I will find you!!
Shoot, it got away. Okay, mom I'm cold now. Can we go in?
A warm bath might feel good about now.
I'm so ready for spring and warm green grass!
So cute… I'm so ready for Spring too. And so is our pittie puppy, Ivy Rose. She wants to be outside so bad but it has been extremely cold in Indiana… Poor things!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how they put their faces right down in the snow. Don't you wonder what it is they're smelling, maybe not! My daughter has a golden-doodle and he comes in just caked with snow. If you get the chance stop over to my blog today. I'd love to see ya there! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteShe is just so precious! I have a very special place in my heart for Yorkies, so I love Miss Bailey postings ;)
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute! Love the story! Everyone has had way too much snow, ice, and cold this winter. Hope it all melts quickly!
ReplyDeletesweeet. even in the snow are little pups are stills sniffing out those scents.
ReplyDeleteAw. He's a lucky little guy! Our dogs hate having to go outside for you-know-what in this weather.
ReplyDeleteAww, Bailey is a cutie! Precious post, Kim!
ReplyDeleteCute! Our Benny and Fergus can't wait for it all to melt so they can run and play. Right now it's too deep at 5'.
ReplyDeleteLOL...cute post Kim. We were talking recently about getting a dog, and when this big snow storm hit, my husband said, who would walk the dog in weather like this? Made me think twice about getting a dog. lol.
ReplyDeleteLittle Bailey! Too cute! Savannah hated when we had our "snow". She refused to l eave the back porch.
ReplyDeleteBailey is adorable. Our Priscilla can't find a scent in the snow either - she gets confused by that snow. Looks like Bailey had fun. Let's hope this is the end of the snow.

ReplyDeleteBailey is so cute! Tell her not to worry, all the snow will be gone soon - almost spring!
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing Bailey's snow adventures. She's so cute.
ReplyDeleteDear Bailey. . . I am so glad that you got to frolic in the snow . . and I am sorry that you did not "catch" whatever you were searching for...but all that fun was well worth having to get a bath from Mom...now be careful and stay out of the street!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what snow! It looks beautiful and I am sure Bailey truly had fun.....
ReplyDeletewish we had more of the white stuff in CA, we are truly very scarily dry....never seen it so dry before....

Hi Bailey, I bet you and Hunter would have a ball playing tag in it. He loves the snow; loves to put his face in it and roll around. I only put him in the sink if he is really covered. Glad you had such fun!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.

Bailey you are adorable and you can guest blog and make me laugh any day that you want ( and Mom lets you, of course :) Up here in the North, when it is cold and snowy all of the time, little dogs often wear sweaters and sometimes even little boots on their feet. Can you believe it ? You could go clothes shopping with Mom if you lived up here and had snow all of the time! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Ms Bailey,
ReplyDeleteMy fur-sister and fur-brother and I LOVE the snow, but then of course, we're from Michigan! We love to go out and run around in our Courtyard - no streets to worry about, unless we jump the wall...and I don't think we'd ever do that. Mommy would be so upset! My fur-sister Rosie is a Toy Poodle, with shorter hair and my fur-brother, a Maltese, has a bit longer hair - but those snowballs don't stick on him. Me? Well, I'm a Havanese with very long hair all over my bigger-than-them body and the snowballs LOVE my hair. When we all come inside, it's off to the bathroom so that I can stand on a towel while mommy or daddy blow dry me and the snowballs melt into puddles! I'm glad you liked investigating the snow, isn't it fun? What I love doing, especially in the deeper snow piles daddy leaves in the courtyard for us to play on...is run and just jump, face first into the snow pile. It's so much fun!! See you later!

Cute post, Kim. The snow cover looks gorgeous! We had a light dusting a few weeks ago, and our Sadie didn't know what to think either.
ReplyDeleteSqueeeeeal! She is too, TOO adorable! I can't BREATHE. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteYour house and property are stunning. I don't think I have seen it before (from the outside).
About a month ago, it snowed quite heavily and the plows had not come through our neighborhood.
As I pulled into the neighborhood I followed a fresh set of tire marks because I couldn't tell where the street was.
I passed over some bunny footprints and I told my family "Silly bunny! It's so snowy the bunny didn't even realize he was in the middle of the street!"
Then I looked around and realized that we had followed the tire tracks into an empty lot! The tracks eventually led back to the street. It was so hard to tell where we were with all that snow! (I was wondering why someone moved the mailboxes! LOL!)
I laugh every time I think about that "silly bunny"!
Stay warm!
xo

Miss Bailey, It looks like you had a fun adventure outside but I am sorry your "catch" got away!!! It is hard not to get those frozen things stuck to you, huh? Hope you got that nice, warm bath and are now snuggled in. BE CAREFUL while that white stuff is on the ground so Mom won't have to yell!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell Miss Bailey is such a cutie! I am sure she was not quite sure what to think of the snow LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou might have to move up North so Bailey can play in the snow more often. Looks like she loves it!
ReplyDeleteI am happy you are enjoying the snow. I love to roll around in the snow. It's a lot of fun, isn't it!
ReplyDeleteYour friend in Missouri...Molly xoxo
LOL- I think you should have your own blog, Miss Bailey-and you can tell secrets on your Mom-like that she SCREAMED at you---lol too funny- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteShe is so sweet Kim! I bet you did. Your heart about stops when they get near a road, just as if they were our kids. Stay warm!!! Shannon
ReplyDeleteYour home is beautiful in the snow. Looks like a Christmas card.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I hope we get to read some more Bailey posts.
ReplyDeleteToo cute Kim. Bailey probably was wondering what all that white cold stuff was. Looks like she had fun investigating. What a little sweetie.

OMG your photo of your house looks absolutely beautiful!!! It would be beautiful printed and framed!! I know you are all getting sick of the snow but as we don't have snow where I live in Australia I can't get enough of your beautiful photos. This is on my bucket list to see....real snow!!
ReplyDeleteSuzyq
ditto - your house is amazing!
DeleteCute...looks like the snow was solid enough so Miss Bailey did not sink...She must have enjoyed herself. It looks very pretty! Stay warm Miss Bailey!
ReplyDeleteMiss Bailey is so cute! I cannot believe all of the snow, hopefully it will be gone soon. Stay warm and safe.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Congratulations on the photo shoot for booth you and your sister!
Miss Bailey is so cute and she was really on trail of something interesting. Hope she got a nice warm bath when she got in.

Miss Bailey is so cute in the snow! As a fellow Southerner, I'm ready for spring too!
ReplyDeleteBecause we live by a "freeway" too, we have to walk our dog on a leash. In Lucy's excitement, she was pulling me all over the yard because of the icy layer of sleet! Don't you wonder what goes through their minds when it all disappears?
ReplyDeleteBailey is so cute. She is enjoying her adventure in the snow.. She would be lost in the snow we had last week. I am so ready for spring. Cute photos and post, have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteAwww, Bailey is so cute and a great storyteller! I agree, I'm ready for Spring! Bailey, your home looks so pretty in the snow, just like a postcard!
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable....and looks like she enjoyed the snow. pics are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing Miss Bailey!
ReplyDeleteLove the dogs point of view, adorable Kim! Hopefully, the south is finished with snow for the year!
ReplyDeleteJenna
I'm happy Miss Adorable Bailey didn't get lost in all that snow! Bet you didn't have to call her twice to come inside. Lovely snow photo of your home............
ReplyDeleteI'm happy it went away so fast!
Well Bailey girl you should come see your friends here in New Jersey. I have two golden who absolutely love the snow. Tristan our 10 year old comes in the house looking like a little lamb, he has so many snowballs sticking to his coat. He is so happy frolicking out there. Maddie, our 4 year likes it but not nearly as much as Tristan. She prefers a sunny spot on the couch to sun bath. Mom here would prefer a clean and dry dining room and kitchen floor. Spring can't get here fast enough for me!
ReplyDeleteMiss Bailey was very brave! My cats don't like snow that much! The view of your street is incredible.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable! It's amazing to me that your area has received so much snow. I'm sure you're tired of it although the photos are beautiful.

Miss Bailey looks so much like our Delilah. We have so much snow here that Delilah just disappears in the snow.
ReplyDeleteThat's the first I've seen of a small pooch enjoying the snow. Mine would love it but no such luck here in southeast TX. Great pics!
ReplyDeleteHello, Miss Bailey! I'm Sadie Silverpaws, and I enjoyed your post. You can come up north here to NJ, and play in the snow with me anytime!
