A complimentary forest green tile was around the fireplace surround too. Don't y'all remember the days of forest green and burgandy? It didn't take me long to take a hammer and chisel too it. I used tumbled stone in a couple different sizes to neutralize the surround.
In my favorite pine hutch, I store things that I use to decorate with. Mostly things that are white, silver or aqua. I grabbed a couple of items to style my coffee table for you :)
On the coffee table I used a McCoy flower pot and a white vase from the hutch.
The color on the wall is OC-48 Hazy Skies by Benjamin Moore. I love it because as the day progresses the color goes from gray to blue to green, I don't know what I'd ever replace it with! It compliments the HC-107 Gettysburg Gray in kitchen perfectly, also Benjamin Moore.
I have a mix of painted and wood tones through out the house. I have to refrain from painting everything.
This is a summer shot, but even in the cold of winter, it's a great view. My living room is my favorite room, it's cozy and comfortable and just through the double doors is our outside living area.
I hope you will visit me over at my blog Refresh Restyle!
