A few weeks ago I showed you my new tufted ottoman in the great room. I also told you the old coffee table had moved to a new space.
I decided to replace the tiny red top coffee table in the sun room with this larger nicer one. It just needed a bit of a change.
I decided to make the top navy blue. I mixed Annie Sloan chalk paints Aubusson and Graphite together till I had a rich deep blue.
I started rolling the same lacquer on top that I put on my kitchen cabinets, but it wasn't looking right. I stopped and let it dry and then sanded a bit of that off and waxed the top with clear and dark waxes.
I love the way it turned out.
You can read how I painted it the gray color before here.
I hope you have some projects and other things to share here tonight at Wow.
See you there!
