I love making a pretty bed and changing out the linens for different looks. Here are ten ways this guest room's bed has looked since I started blogging in 2010. If you want to see more of each look just click on the link under each photo.
No you are not crazy...just putting all your creative juices to work! They are all pretty! It is fun to see how not only the linens changed but the accessories as well. I think I like the April 2013 the best, but I would be quite happy with any of them.
I wish I could choose one that's my favourite, but I can't. I hope your guests know how lucky they are. I like the "new" wall colour, I think it's softer than the previous one.
Kim I love all of you guest bed's looks but also I love how you switched up the wall art over the years! So very pretty. You really know how to put those creative juices to work! XO Barbara
How much fun to have a bedroom wardrobe! I love them all, especially the Christmas ones with that fabulous Santa face~the thing that really impresses me is how often you repaint everything! I wish I had the energy for that!! Jenna
I can't tell which one I like best!!! I do like how you added color to your dust ruffle. I recently did that in our extra bedroom. What a difference it made for just a little bit of cost! Thanks for the review. Great inspiration!
Until recently, I never used to change out my bedding for the seasons...and now I am hooked due to your inspiration!...Love all of the looks....must say I love the birds of both designs!....can't wait to see the newest look!...
What a fun idea! My personal favorites are the two with the bird bedding. I just love how the green walls pick up the green leaves in the bedding. I would gladly curl up in any of those beds though. They all look so comfy!
I usually only change for Fall/Winter then Spring/Summer. I am currently SEARCHING for new Spring/Summer bedding!!! Love every single one of these beds!!!!!!!!!!
what a great idea. I loved seeing your room through the seasons and years. I too love all the old Ralph Lauren bedding styles and wish they would go back to the older ones. All the styles of your room are lovely and makes me wish I'd kept pictures through the years. You've inspired me!
I updated our guest bed yesterday for the first time in a while. It was loooong overdue. Jordan will be spending tomorrow night so I wanted it to look fresh and welcoming for her.
Kim, I think every single one is gorgeous! What a beautiful bed and inviting room! Your guests must love coming to stay with you. love and blessings~ Lynda @ Gates of Crystal
Now that was fun! Nice that you have so many bed linens to change up your guest room's look, especially on a seasonal basis! My favorite is April 2013! Runner up is December 2012, but they all are lovely!
Kim, How fun to see all the different looks through the seasons and years. I have to say they are all great but my favorite it the April 2013. So pretty. I cannot wait to see the new look to come. Kris
Not crazy! You just love beautiful textiles and know how to creatively use them. My question is, where do you keep the duvets? Are they covers that you change out? Each look is inviting. Who wouldn't enjoy being a guest in this room?
I love your bed looks...very cute! I have the darndest time with my high bed & getting all the pillows to lay right. It's king size & really high. Any secrets? Just ordered a linen duvet and can't wait to see it....I'm crazy too!
Crazy in LOVE with them all! I do the same, only I do not have a guest room, but change my own bed seasonal as well! While not as often, I do change for summer, spring and winter! My 2014 spring bedroom can be seen on my blog!
Oh my goodness! I love swapping out my dishes and tablescapes in my entry and dining rooms but my guest room has changed only 3 times in 15 years.Where do you find the energy and where oh where do you keep it all?! Karee
Personally, I have always LIKED crazy! lol I love all the bedding and that first one was really gorgeous, too-but I do like the softer wall color AND the plates arching over the bed. xo Diana
Dang, woman! I haven't even made my own bed in about five days. The dog won't get off my husband's side, so I only make up my side. He chewed one corner of the comforter (the dog, not my husband) and the pillows are all catty-wompus. You impress the heck out of me, and I dream at night of having one of your bed schemes. Be-uti-ful.
That's what I like about you, Kim! You keep on changing things around, it's never boring! They all look beautiful, my favorites are December 12 and April 13 ;)
yes you are...but I love how you change things up in the guest room, so i guess that makes me crazy too!
