Recently I shared the latest look of the farmhouse style guest room. I thought it would be nice to take a little stroll down memory lane of how this room has evolved over the past four years. It started out traditional to nautical and then farmhouse style.

Hi Kim,
ReplyDeleteNo matter what theme you use in that room it always looks charming and welcoming. I do love when you had the beach theme with that vintage bathing suit over the bed. Very cute.
Kris
Every time you cange something IT becomes my favorite:) Congrats again.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Kim! I can't think of anyone's home more worthy of a feature than your beautiful home....you should enjoy it!! Hugs to you, Gail
ReplyDeleteI love the bed painted. So, so cute and now it looks antique. I don't remember reading about that when you did it. I love the bedskirt. White bedspreads are the best because you can change out the quilts and pillows for so many different looks. You have a great collection of quilts. Where did your little nautical shadow box end up?
ReplyDeleteI bet you have 10 or 11 looks for every room right? I am not far behind you.....I am not gonna lie:) Love this version!
ReplyDeleteThey all looked great!!
ReplyDeleteI love all the looks!...all eleven of them...but must say the Farmhouse look is "you"...
ReplyDeleteThings are always getting changed up at your house aren't they! I love all of the different looks but the current one is my fave!
ReplyDeleteSo fun seeing the transformations!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the magazine shoot! What a dream come true!! So exciting! woot woot! I love all the looks to this room, but I think it looks so much better in the lighter colors. It's just me though. I'm not a big fan of dark rooms (says the one who just painted a room brown.) I think my favorite is the look you have now. I love all the colors and pillows!

ReplyDeleteHi Kim! It's like looking through a magazine catalogue :0)
I love the pops of red throughout so many of the photos. So bright and vibrant, yet warm and welcoming.
Thanks for sharing!
Suzanne
The red and white accents is what makes me love this room so much. I like bold colors and patterns! Such a great use of accessories!
ReplyDeleteWow, you really do change things up a lot!!! I love all the looks but the current one is my favorite....for now!

They all look great but the last one is my favorite. The reds and blues are so pretty together.
ReplyDeleteI am sure there will be a 12th soon! :)
ReplyDeleteThey all look so wonderful! I am amazed at how many things you have changed in there and yet everything still coordinates so well. You do an amazing job!
ReplyDeleteKim, I have only been a follower of your blog for a couple of months an.d want to tell you that you have one of the most loveliest homes I have ever seen. I love your style and will be trying to mimick some of your décor in my own home. Congratulations on the cover of French County magazine. Can't wait to get my hand on a copy. Look forward to your post everyday. Linda Jenkins, Just another French County Enthusiasts.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet words, Linda.
DeleteI love how it's always different, but always good-looking.
ReplyDeleteI like them all, Kim, but I really like how much lighter and brighter it looks after you painted the bed. It is really fun to see all the different looks. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLove all of your different looks!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your evolution of style in this space Kim! Love the red bench at the foot of the bed :-)

Love them all so much, but once the bed became white, I really fell in love. Always love your artwork, too.

What wonderful ways to change simple things to make it look so different. Love the star pillow in the 2012 Dec. picture.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Lynnie

I love seeing the room change so much Kim! Although I have to admit, I miss the swimsuit and the uniform!
ReplyDeleteThis is something, Kim! I think it is worthy of it's own magazine spread! (Maybe "11" is your magic number, since your spread is 11 pages! I don't think I could pick a favorite, but I do love the painted bed.
