Cool large metal sign and not a bad price.
Lots of French and English goodness in this booth.
I considered this pillow and I may go back and get it.
Really good price on this rush seat stool for only $35, but it was a bit taller than I wanted.
I am collecting old colanders and I loved the color of this one, but it was a little pricey so I skipped it. It may haunt me and I may have to get it, but not sure.
I looked and looked and looked at this French oil painting. Really good price, but not sure where I can hang it so I skipped it.
Cute jar.
Great old breadboard and a smaller size than my other ones. The bottom is badly eaten by wood worms.
I also considered this old pitch fork made out of one piece of wood. Pretty cool and only $44.
Love this old English chest and I would love to replace the white dresser in the green guest room with this piece. Would much rather have a nice vintage piece than a new piece.
Another cute old painting on board. You should see the back of this it's really old.
This beautiful majolica tray came home with me.
I also had a first happen for me while at the antique mall. A blog reader recognized me and said she reads my blog everyday. I didn't catch her name, but it was so fun meeting her.
Be sure to come back tomorrow as I share some exciting news with you!

Kim, so many goodies. You have better will power than I do. I can't say No and end up hoarding everything.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you resisted so many beautiful things!!! Happy Easter Kim!
ReplyDeleteHi, Kim, Glad you got out, and thanks for sharing all those wonderful finds. Would you consider sharing the name of the antiques market? I think I live near you, I am in Braselton, and would love to visit that store. Enjoy your blog. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteIt is the Queen of Hearts in Alpharetta.

I am there all the time, i think I may have seen you but I did not introduce myself.
DeleteMaybe next time:) We are building a farm house in Ball Ground and I have been looking for old farm house items to furnish it with. I love your simple farm house taste. You inspire me:)
Congrat's on the cover of French Country you totally deserve it!
Oh, lucky you to be building a farm house. Ball Ground is not far from my sister's house.
DeleteBall Ground has a new Antique Mall that just opened. I need to go check it out!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun shopping trip. Love the piece you came home with AND I love that colander you left behind!!!! What fun to be recognized by a blog reader. Can't wait to hear your news! I don't have to start knitting baby booties for you for an OOOPS baby, do I? xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. Should have guessed.... I have found many treasures at their Buford location. Will have to visit the Alpharetta store. Dont know how you resisted all those awesome pieces. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteThis place is amazing. I'm not sure I would have resisted the old English dresser. I'm pretty sure it's calling my name, though I have no room ofr it. I'm a little late with blog reading, so I think I didn't have time to wish you a (late) happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great store. It's probably good that it's in GA,as I would be spending all my money there.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you found some treasures.
Hope that you had a wonderful Easter - I ate to much.
Mary
It was fun shopping with you. Love the majolica tray you got. Hope your Easter was nice.
ReplyDeleteOh, Kim, I think I'd go back for the pitchfork and stool - single piece of wood (not to pass up!), and sttols can always be used as risers, stands or, of course, extra seating! Whats the news, tell me all about it!
ReplyDeleteIt's in the new post, Rita.
DeleteIt was such a hoot the first time a follower ran in to me at a shop on Magazine Street. She was from Austin, TX. Then, a follower ran into J. in the Indianapolis airport. I never knew my little blog was read by so many, and I'd be semi"famous". I adore the support of so many followers, readers, and other bloggers! I am blessed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great place to find some treasures. Love the lanterns you showed and great find in that tray!!! Hope you had a great Easter!!
ReplyDeleteCynthia
