- Same wall color as the guest room: Benjamin Moore French Canvas
- Rayna Paisley Shower Curtain from Pottery Barn except I got mine at the outlet for a steal.
- Oval Mirror by Delta from Amazon.com
- Miseno faucet from faucetdirect.com
- Light Fixture from Restoration Hardware on sale
The new faucet came quickly in this box.
My handyman, a.k.a. Mr. Savvy, installed it. He bumped his head a few times having to get in and out of the small cabinet. Thanks, dear!
I love my new light which has also been hung.
In fact everything is done except for some paint touch ups and I am waiting on one decorative/functional item to get here from France.
Shouldn't be too much longer and then a full reveal!
So excited to see more, Kim! I love what you have in place so far.
ReplyDeleteYou did a fantastic job on your mood board. I love being able to click into the links on what you purchased for your remodel. It's going to be beautiful!
ReplyDeleteKim, I'm anxious to see your finished guest bathroom and the item from France. We have just started to update two small bathrooms from the eighties. First big decision was new vanities or pedestals. My husband is all for storage, so the two new vanities have been purchased. Now to choose the paint colors, and floor tile. I'm hoping these rooms will be completed by the end of June. Wish me luck.
ReplyDeleteBonjour,
ReplyDeleteLe n° 5 & 2 sont des articles qui me plaisent beaucoup... J'ai hâte de voir l'évolution de cette salle de bain qui sera très certainement superbe.
Gros bisous
Looks like our builder was shopping at the same place for fixtures. Our powder room is on the docket for next winter...I like your inspiration and anxious to see the full reveal.

I'm beginning to reno as well. I am so tempted by oil rubbed bronze fixtures, but I have three young boys and feel like it would be a disaster of toothpaste stains and finger prints. Sigh!
ReplyDeleteI like your choice of faucet. We went with all bronze faucets and fixtures when we gutted and redid the bathroom in our 1913 bungalow.
ReplyDeleteThe farm house we moved into this past August has all chrome in both bathrooms and we dislike it all. In time we will replace them.
When this renter moves out of the bungalow, my husband (also very handy like yours) is going to switch the bronze and chrome in the main bathroom. Chrome won't matter to renters.
I've been following your blog for awhile, but this is my first comment.
To explain more, I lived in the bungalow for five years then my husband and I lived in it for 3 before we found the 1878 farm house on 8 acres outside of our little town in Ohio. So we did things to the bungalow for us and now are rethinking things for renters. We were able to use our expensive drapes and bronze rods in this house. We also brought the two antique lights from the living room and dining room ceilings. They are perfect in our much larger living room.
ReplyDeleteI like your selections, Kim! Love the shower curtain and that gorgeous faucet!
ReplyDeleteWe did brass in our master bath and replaced that several years ago. Thankfully, I was smarter in the other baths! I just ordered a shower curtain from RH - so hard to find the longer ones, but they have them. I went with solid linen.
ReplyDeleteOh I love all of the new items...can't wait to see the reveal as it is going to look gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the final reveal. I love the shower curtain. Wish I had a PB outlet close by!
ReplyDeleteloving what you got going on in there. funny about the brass.
ReplyDeleteLove your selections, Kim. We don't have a PB here, I always have to order online, and things are almost always sold out once they go on sale. #littlecityproblems

Looking good. I really like your design choices, they look wonderful. Great new faucet and light, now can't wait to see the rest.
ReplyDeleteLove what you have picked out so far Kim!
ReplyDeleteLove that faucet! I wish I was closer to a PB outlet. You find the best stuff!
ReplyDeleteI've got one powder room with brass accessories, and I'd love to rip them out, but it's not happening just yet. Love everything that you picked, and look forward to the reveal!
ReplyDeleteSuch great choices! I love how the entire board looks. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI think the 90s probably have me on their list, too. At least the brass is upstairs, and I hardly ever have to see it!
ReplyDeleteThe new faucet is a much better choice.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the finished room.
I like all of the choices you made for that room. Can't wait to see the room reveal!
ReplyDeleteLove it already! I think that shower curtain is the same fabric of the duvet cover I have been eyeing up for awhile...I really need to just buy that thing! Can't wait to see more pictures!

Your mood board is great! I totally get where you're going with it! Can't wait to see the finished projects and all the ways you will accessorize! You have a gift ya know! -Kathy@The Daily Nest
ReplyDeleteI love your mood board, that faucet id great. Don't you just love the prices you get on the internet. We got all our plumbing fixtures from Faucet Direct. No shipping either, such a good thing!
ReplyDeleteCynthia
LOVE your new choices!!! But I thought I just read that brass is coming back in style.
ReplyDeleteNot this very bright cheap looking brass. The new brass has a more realistic old brass look.
Deletelove it…but your link for the faucet takes me to mirror instead. Wonder what you are painting besides the walls!?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nanci. Fixed it.
DeleteI love that light fixture.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it all finished! We're still working on our 1/2 bath at the mountain cottage. Seems like it will never be finished!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see it, love the shower curtain too!
ReplyDeleteLuv everything, :D The reveal will be wonderful... can hardly wait. Sorry about the bumped head ... my Mr. kept doing the same thing when we traded out the kitchen faucet and hall bath faucet a couple of months ago.
ReplyDeleteLooking good Kim...love the both the faucet and new fixture. LOL...the 90's may be calling you but the 80's keep ringing my phone off the hook!
ReplyDeleteXO Barbara
Can't wait to see the final reveal! It is going to be beautiful, I know!
ReplyDeleteLove the shower curtain. Who & how does someone shop in France? Seriously.
ReplyDeleteAnn, it's called Ebay.
DeleteLove your mood board, Kim! I've never tried to do one either! All of your choices look fabulous and can't wait to see them in the full reveal. Hope that decorative accessory from France gets here quickly!
ReplyDeleteYAY!!! LOOKS GREAT.
ReplyDeleteGreat mood board. I must say you have good taste. How do I know? I have that same Delta mirror in our powder room AND that same light fixture in a different bathroom at a house we rehabbed from RH! LOL- I should do a post one of these days on the powder room. You will love that mirror. I like it because the kids can tip it down to see into it when they brush their hair in there- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteOh! I can't wait to see it all pulled together!
ReplyDeleteWhen we think updates, it seems the bathrooms are often overlooked. A few simple changes sure make a difference.
ReplyDeleteGoing to look awesome Kim! Love all your choices too.
ReplyDeleteI wish Mr. Savvy could come over to my house to help with a few projects. I would feed him homemade chicken and dumplings and dewberry cobbler to thank him. I had no clue you could change out the stopper in a sink when you change out the faucets.....bet he makes it look easy....
ReplyDeleteOh how fun! Nice of Mr. Savvy to bump his head a few time for you... Can't wait to see the rest.
