Yesterday I shared the Guest Bath Reveal and somehow I never shared the before. So here are some shots so you can see what a transformation it actually was with just a few updates.
Bye bye drab ugly walls.
Goodbye builder's grade mirror. Still have two more baths that need to lose these.
Bye brass doors.
The mirror was taped before ripping it down.
A lot of damage left from removing the mirror.
A strip of the original wallpaper.
Holes and another paint treatment showing behind the old towel bar.
And nasty filth under the shower doors.
I'm so glad it is all clean and bright in this bathroom now.
Looking forward to any transformations or real life you have to share at Wow tonight.
See y'all there!
Did you have to! I was okay with the before shots until you showed the filth under the shower tracks! :) your bathroom came out nice. i love your choice of navy in the space.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great now and thats what matters.. enjoy your new bath.
ReplyDeleteYour before shots make the changes even more appreciated!
ReplyDeleteBye, bye old Mr. Builder Grade . . . . Hello Prince Charming . . . The "new bath" is like a charming bath in France..Love it!
ReplyDeleteYou shared some before shots in an earlier post - but not the doors - or the dirt! LOL
ReplyDeleteI have never liked shower doors and we have never had them.
Yes, I shared a couple of these in the progress shots.
DeleteI want to rip my mirrors down, too. Lookin' good!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly had your work cut out for you! Love the AFTER a lot!
ReplyDeleteLooks great Kim! The "After" I mean! My question is can you offer the steps you took to take down the glass shower door and replaced it with a shower curtain? I have nasty glass doors and brass and I am ready for a change too!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks! KC
KC, there are many tutorials out there. Here is a link to one.

It really makes a difference seeing the "before" shots. It's amazing how much work was done in that small space. I bet it feels like a brand new bathroom now!
ReplyDeleteKim, I envy your energy....sooo many changes over the years! I definitely am going to try the gluten free regimen to get some of that energy. All kidding aside, your new bath looks fresh and pretty.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get rid of the shower doors, glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like them.
ReplyDeleteSo brave of you to let it all hang out!!! Can't wait for the after!
ReplyDelete:) Linda
Love the before shots! What a project! Linking up to WOW next week.Internet is slooooow here!
ReplyDeleteYour bathroom looks great (the after). Love the navy touches and your little wooden stool. I have a small bathroom too so I can appreciate how hard it is to photograph. You and the mister did a great job!
ReplyDeleteKristi
I read the reveal and couldn't comment because I needed to see the before to appreciate the transformation. So yes, of course you transformed it to perfection, and goodbye sliding bath doors!
