I always edge the beds after I mow the lawn. I love a neat edge. Those two tiny hydrangeas were planted late last year and I'm not sure how well they are going to do.
After working all day I sat by the pond for while in the shade and this shot is the view from my seat with my neighbor's house reflection in the water.
Reflection of our very large sycamore tree.
I switched the camera over to macro and snapped some close ups. This lily pad leaf is floating loose from the lilies and has some debris on it from me cutting around the pond. I love the colors.
My big hydrangea bush is just starting to bloom.
And some are still budding.
So what have y'all been up to this weekend?
All these photos were taken with the Samsung NX300 and then edited a little in picmonkey.
Enjoy your Sunday!
Hi Kim, gorgeous photos and I loved the scalloped edge in your landscaping. So manicured.

ReplyDeleteYour hydrangea is very pretty and your edging is so perfect! My lace cap is getting ready to bloom, too. Hot days here in Alabama make my yard work a lot like yours-- a shower blew through awhile ago-- might be headed your way.

ReplyDeleteKim, your yard is lovely! We have been working hard in our yard this spring, and the past few days have been perfect for gardening. Our hydrangeas didn't really take off until their 2nd year, so maybe that will be the case with yours as well.
