Don't blink or you will miss how quickly I can make changes to a room. Since I last shared the reveal of this guestroom I have changed a few things and added a few things. Isn't that always the case around here?
I added the blue striped pillow shams in place of the tan colored ones. I like the extra blue and white for summer.
They are old Pottery Barn shams that I have hung on to.
I was going to use this rug in the bathroom, but it works well here by the bed, too and I found the smaller one for the bathroom. I found both of them at HomeGoods and this one is by Safavieh and was only $19.99!
I placed one of the old pitch forks that I found on our trip to Lucketts here.
This enamelware sign was also tucked away and I just used some wire to attach it to this basket.
This is one of the chairs that moved from the sunroom.
I do have a special guest coming this week to stay with me before we go to the Haven Conference. Not sure if she is staying in this room or the other one though. The other one is probably the quieter one since it is on the back of the house.
Now I must get back to cleaning the house plus packing for Haven soon and I am babysitting Leila today and tomorrow.
I sure hope y'all have a super week and be sure to come back tomorrow night at the new Wow party time of 7pmET.
Love the added touches of blue Kim! I'll see you at Haven:)
ReplyDeleteThose sheep prints are just perfect for this bedroom, and I'm lusting over the pitchfork! (Every time I use the word lust, I can't help but think about Jimmy Carter!)
ReplyDeleteAny guest would feel really special in that room. It's just beautiful!

ReplyDeleteIf your guests ask you to wake them by a certain time in the morning you can use the pitchfork! A little jab with that would get them moving.
