Do you know what happens when you bring in one new chair? The domino effect. Yep, after I got the new striped chair from the Pottery Barn Outlet for the sunroom things have been shifting around. I gave y'all a sneak peek of some new pillows the other day and now here is how the farmhouse style guestroom looks with a few changes from that domino effect.
The last time I shared this room it was decked out in red, white, and blue for July 4th. Now the blue has been removed and using what I had I have used mostly red and white.
I love mixing patterns.
I bought these red toile shams in the clearance section at the Pottery Barn Outlet months ago and have been waiting to use them. They were less than eight dollars after the discount.
The chair in the corner was in the sitting room, but it was replaced with one of the chairs in the sun room when the new chair moved into the sun room. Got it? This chair replaced the old white wicker chair.
This pillow along with the mate use to be in the sun room, too, but of course some changes in the sun room took place because of that chair. I will share the sun room changes soon.
This little chair was in the master bedroom, but I must be in nesting mode because I made a small change with chairs in there, too recently.
When I renovated the other guest bath I took the knobs off of this armoire to use on the cabinets so that meant getting new ones for this.
I was wanting the same white ones that I took off, but they were all out so I grabbed these black ones and I actually like them better. These are from Hobby Lobby.
The last time I shared this room on July 4th only a couple folks noticed the new bed. I bought this from overstock.com at a really good price. I have plans for the other bed to go in the bonus/hoarding room after I get that room cleaned out. It will be an extra bed when the grands are visiting.
So for now it is red and white in here. Who knows what I will come up with next.
:)
Happy Thursday and happy decoratating!

Your touches of red around the room are gorgeous and the room looks so put together.
Jennifer, I got my bed from overstock.com and it is by Stanley. It is very well made and it was easy to assemble. The price is what sold me at only $294 for the queen size.
