The copper molds are no longer on the arched wall. I showed them to y'all in the breakfast room post hanging above the window.
Now the eye can look through the arches to the great room without stopping to look at the copper molds that once hung there.
I hung two of my molds on this vintage breadboard.
Another large one hangs on the stove hood now instead of the cow head.
I still have my vintage scale collection on top of the cabinets. Boy, those things were dusty when I had to take them down. Everything is nice and clean now for a bit.
I love Dash & Albert rugs. When I saw this new line by Bunny Williams I had to have one. I had been wanting a runner here and this one is perfect. Love the red plaid and jute together.
I'm still thrilled with my salvage piece pot rack.
See how the checked cafe curtains were made here by Mr. Savvy.
French soap sits in an old ironstone food mold by the sink since I ran out of the liquid soap I like.
This neutral color is much better than the old color Frappe that had more yellow in it.
Now I really want the whole house painted in this, but that won't be happening any time soon.
I sure hope y'all have a fabulous week!
Everything looks so pretty in the kitchen. now ...what's for supper!

Me too, there are areas in my home a little hard to photograph because of little natural light during parts of the day, but I do love having lots of trees. Love the color Kim and I noticed my scale is like the one you have on your counter...love it! I can't wait to finally have a kitchen to display it in. Hope you have a great week...
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Cindy
So much eye candy in that kitchen! The new paint color is great and really shows off the things you have hung on the walls (like that vintage breadboard - love that!).
ReplyDeleteSuch a warm and interesting view. You've added details to every place!
ReplyDeleteIt looks gorgeous. I love the new color and the way you've changed all of your accessories. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteKim, the color is wonderful. Aptly named because it's the perfect canvas for all that you've got going on in the room. I just love you cabinets, as well, particularly with the rope trim visible on the range hood. Love your granite selection too. I realize you're focusing on the paint here, but the whole thing is new to me so I'm enjoying all the bits... :-)

ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! Every time I see your kitchen I want to get a pot rack. I had one in the old house for years then took it down to open up the room some. But I miss it......maybe I will try to find one. Love the new color. We are going to paint this winter and I am thinking about colors now. Decisions, decisions:):)

ReplyDeleteI love the bright airy look to your kitchen! That paint made all the difference. I always love to read your blog and see what comes next! You never disappoint!
ReplyDeleteLove the French Canvas! It has a real stone quality to it. Question......does it go a bit green or putty in some light?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! I love the arches with no adornment. It lets you see the beauty of them.
ReplyDeleteI finished painting my family room with BM Elephant Tusk which is very similar to French Canvas. I love it!! I will be painting my kitchen in it next. One question...what color are your blinds?
ReplyDeleteLove your copper molds on your amazing bread board...I want that LOL! Your kitchen is so beautiful! My house is a wreck right now with my sale going on ....ugh!
ReplyDeleteJusr went to my local Benjamin Moore store and got a paint chip. Looking at your pictures again to see how French Canvas looks with white. I'm considering painting above the chair rail French Canvas and below the same white as the chair rail. Any suggestions, thoughts, etc?
ReplyDeleteSounds pretty to me.
DeleteIt's gorgeous Kim!! You have such a lovely home, and I totally get the paint thing. I never did get all of the yellow paint covered at my house, I just moved. Now there's a way to take care of that problem. But you have a beautiful home and don't need to move.
