Hello Savvy Southern Stylers! I am Kristen from the blog, Ella Claire and I am excited to share a little glimpse of one of my favorite rooms with you today! This may not be the best decorated room in our home, but it is the room that we spend a lot of time, the place where I snuggle and play with my babies, and the room where we sit and have long talks. I love this space and I have especially loved how it has evolved over the years to fit our needs. This is our bonus room which serves as our family room and play room and TV room all in one. It is the length of the 3 car garage below, so it was a pretty empty and cavernous space before we made any changes.
When I first decorated the space last year, this is what I came up with. We have changed the carpet since then, but for the most part it stays the same until it comes time to decorate for holidays!
You can see the tutorial for this gallery wall clip (mousetraps!) board HERE.
I love all things vintage, and I especially love vintagey Halloween decorations! My Ella and I love to play with this fun little bean bag toss toy. You can see the painting tutorial for this birdcage HERE. I made the little paper decorations for around my home a couple years ago.
It has since been covered by even more beautiful artwork from my little ones.
Thanks Kristen for sharing your favorite space with us. I love how you have added some whimsical decor for Halloween especially the gallery wall clips. Those are very interesting.
If y'all haven't visited Ella Claire before you will love her home all decked out for Halloween.
I hope y'all have a safe and Happy Halloween!
This is the last in the favorite room series for awhile with the next two months being very busy with the holidays.
If you missed any past favorite rooms you can see them all here.
PS. A very happy birthday to my SISTER today. It's a big one!!!
