Welcome to my other favorite room to decorate for Christmas. I think it's because I really want to live in a farmhouse style home and that is the style I have done this room in. I do wish it had wood floors, but for now we will just pretend.
Adding a mix of flannel ticking sheets, velvet shams and wool blend plaid pillows just says cozy.
I really wish the computers came with the ability to feel how soft these gray flannel pillowcases are. I just want to hug them. I ordered them from L.L. Bean.
The red sign is from H & M and is actually a burlap tree mat and I stuck it on the wall.
Found this long stocking at HomeGoods for only $7.
I tied two bottle brush wreaths to the bed with gingham ribbon.
A mix of homemade and store bought ornaments collected over the years fill an old colander.
Christmas is almost here!!
So warm, Kim! I will always be a sucker for checks and plaid. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

Another beautiful room ready for the holidays! I like the way you have a container of ornaments sitting in your guest rooms. I'm going to copy that idea. '-)

ReplyDeleteThis post is from 2014 and I think those came from Lands End, but I'm not positive.

ReplyDeleteMichele, this post is four years old and the items aren't available anymore. Thanks
DeleteI just love this guest bedroom!! Perfect....Where do you get the bottle brush wreaths and/or trees...my father used to work for Fuller Brush in East Hartford CT, and he would bring home those bottle trees, and somehow over the course of 50 years they have gone the way of the earth!
ReplyDeleteI found those at antique shops and fairs over the years. Thanks
DeleteI love all the pillows! I found the llbean flannel cases and the duvet. Where did you get the other pillows and covers?
ReplyDeleteSorry, this post is almost five years old and Pottery Barn doesn't still carry those items.
