Merry Christmas Kim, seems strange your little dog is sitting by the fire while we are in the sunshine celebrating Christmas in New Zealand. I hope you had a lovely day.
hope you had a marvelous Christmas, Kimmie, with your family! We sure did and looking forward to blogging with you again in the new year! You're always the sweetie, Shelia ;)
Kim, I am a retired designer, now living in Virginia. My husband and I were in the process of restoring a historic house when he was killed in a car wreck. I decided to leave my Tn home and business to finish our restoration project, the 'home of our dreams'. But, I soon realized that without him, it was just a house. i sat here for 2 years looking at bare walls, ' furniture 'empty rooms, pretty dishes packed in boxes. Then, I began reading your blog, and others like it, feeling the inspiration return. Reading your blog each morning is like having a coffee/ gab session with my Nashville designer friends as we shared ideas for our clients homes. You make me want to grab a hammer and hang platters, pictures, move furniture, decorate seasonal mantles. Your blog is therapy!! You unselfishly share your time, ideas, talent and energy! I have shared you with my Garden Club....now it's time to say 'thank you'.
Susan, I am so sorry for your loss and this is one of the sweetest comments I have ever gotten. I am drawing a blank as to what direction to go with my blog moving forward and it is folks like you who keep me inspired to keep it up. I probably will be blogging less though. Thank you
Merry Christmas Kim!!
