I switched to a tabletop tree a couple years ago since I had gotten tired up decorating the big tree all by myself. It was just too much. This little one is so easy to put up and take down. I decorated it in red and white this year using decorations I already had.
A vintage stool and baskets hold the presents.

Well, you know that saying, great things come in small packages and the small tree is beautiful!....Love the baskets under the tree!...
ReplyDeleteI love your tabletop tree, and am very tempted to the do the same. Mine is slim, not too terribly hard a task to manage, and since it's new this year, I may have to wait a couple years. Love the view from the breakfast room too. Merry Christmas, Kim!

ReplyDeletePretty tree and I like how you have it up on a table - and such a cute display of packages, too. Have a merry!
ReplyDeleteI love the size of your tree Kim, it's the perfect height elevated on your table! Wishing you a Merry Christmas Week :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty tree Kim...love the gifts tucked in the baskets.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas week Kim!!
Pretty and practical! I'm not a big one for Christmas decorating anyway because I'M the one who has to put everything away later. Thank heaven for my elder daughter. She's 15 and loves to decorate; in fact, she did most of the decorating around here this year. My younger daughter, almost 14, decorated the tree mostly by herself, too.
ReplyDeleteI too switched to a little tree for myself and my husband and I like it so much better really. It fits in my bay window and looks just perfect. I love your tree too and the top piece is very pretty! Have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful, Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteKim your tree looks beautiful! It just shows you don't need a big fancy tree to make a beautiful impact! Your tree absolutely shine and looks so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA tabletop tree is such a great idea. Someday that's all I'm going to do. Love the gifts in the big baskets and even on top of the stool.

Kim,
ReplyDeleteYour tabletop tree is perfect for your space. AND... you have those beautiful live huge evergreens outside your windows to enjoy. The best of both both worlds, an artificial tabletop and live unadorned magnificent trees.
Merry Christmas and Joyeux Noël
Judith
Your tree is beautiful and packs a punch despite its smaller size. You have the perfect spot for it. Have a wonderful holiday!
ReplyDeleteLove the pic of the tree through the arch!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Kim and your packages are wrapped so fancy! Love the baskets.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a very Merry Christmas!
Blessings,
Cindy
Love your red and white Christmas tree! The baskets underneath the table holding presents is a great idea. Will keeps asking me to move ours under our tree, but it isn't possible. Oh well. Funny how he focuses on certain things like that.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Have a wonderful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI feel ya. I have done the same thing for about 4 years now. Kids are grown and everything has to store in the attic. And my husband refuses to help decorate. Love my table top tree.
ReplyDeleteI love your little tree! I'm going to do more little trees next year!
ReplyDeleteI started using a smaller tree because I just don't have the room for a big one. I actually took the top portion of our artificial tree and put it on my end table. I still have a tree without taking furniture out of the room!
ReplyDeleteYour small tree is very pretty! I understand what you mean about wrestling with and decorating a large tree. We moved the super huge ten foot tree with us...but have not used it in our downsize. We have dropped to a 7 1/2 ft tree. Maybe we will downsize the tree one year. No kids to help me decorate it...they grew up! ha.
