How is your weekend going? We were beautiful and sunny yesterday, but now the clouds have moved in again with rain on the way later. That's okay I'm going to stay nice and cozy inside. I thought I would share some of my favorite things with y'all for these cold winter days from my face to my feet.
I switched to this facial cleanser this winter and love it. I was using Aveeno Foaming Facewash and my face was feeling really dry. When it starts getting warm again I will probably switch back.
I also switched to this Multi Correction Moisturizer and it has really helped restore the suppleness back into my face.
It's boot wearing weather and I have quite a few, but this new pair of tall riding boots is my fave. These are not Frye boots, but look very similar to them. These are by Bed Stu and I had never heard of this brand until I was looking at the Anthropologie site and they had a similar pair of these that were sold out. So I googled the brand and they are sold on many sites. I hunted until I found the best deal on shoes.com. These are hand made and with a good leather and wooden soles with rubber on the bottom. They were comfortable straight out of the box.
I don't know about you, but I hate when my feet are cold. I ordered a pair of these Toms Suede Boots which are lined in fur and I wear these without any socks and my feet stay toasty warm. I even have them in two colors since I loved them so much. I love ordering Toms shoes because a person in need gets a pair of shoes for every pair purchased.
I have several booties, but this pair by Born are my favorites. They are so comfortable. I have them in brown.
Oh, and here is a little selfie with my phone, that I shared on instagram, for y'all sporting my new blonder hair which is also a new favorite thing.
I was not paid to share any of these products. Just sharing what I love.
Enjoy your Sunday!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Marty.
DeleteLove all of the boots...and the Tom's boots look really comfy!....Do blondes have more fun?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely!
DeleteLove, love, love your blonde locks Kim, you look fabulous. You must have been good and not naughty this past year because it looks like Santa was sooo nice. Love all your new pretties. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWell, I wish it was Santa who gave me this stuff. I did get all the boots on sale. Merry Christmas to me from me. :) Thanks!
DeleteI will have to check out the boots - never heard of the brand, but they look great.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carol and if you get these you will probably love them.
DeleteYou look so young. The great skin and the blond hair look wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Janette. So funny my mom and I were talking about our awful skin except for our face. At least we can cover up the body. :)
Delete*wolf whistle*
ReplyDeleteLUV the new blonder look! And those boots are all so sexy! Went shopping for boots yesterday... sigh. Nothing took my fancy!
Thanks, Gee. You should look on line. Most sites have free shipping and returns.
DeleteYour selfie is so pretty, Kim! Love all those good looking boots, too! Happy Sunday to you!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda!
DeleteKim, love your new color! I'm thinking of doing a little blonder to my red hair. Maybe a strawberry blonde. They say you should go lighter as you get older. Not a comment that you are older, meant for me since I am now in my early sixties. Whoa! How did I get that old? I keep thinking I'm still in my 20s. Two children and five grandchildren later I guess I am older! (heehee). Oh yeah, love the boots!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean Mary Jean. I too feel younger in my mind than I am. I will hit the big 6-0 this year. Yikes!! Thanks
DeleteThese boots are made for walking.... Giving my age away. Lol You have quite the selection of boots. Love them all.
ReplyDeleteI like your new short, blonde haircut. It's fun and young looking. I wear mine short with blonde and caramel highlights.
I've never tried Roc but hear good things about it. I'm always onto the next product in my price range. Looking for that miracle cure for wrinkles, I guess.
Thanks, Joanne!
DeleteHey Kim, love your new look! Love the Bed Stu boots, too. Could you share the color and some info about sizing? Do they run small, large or do they fit a size 6 if what you wear is a size 6. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mary. I wear and 8 and bought an 8 and they fit right from the box. I do wear thick wool socks with them though. I got the Bristol Riding boot in tan rustic leather.
DeleteThanks Kim😊
DeleteYou are gorgeous--love the highlights! I adore the boots, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLOV your hair. I am going blonder, too (more to blend in the gray :(
ReplyDeleteI want those slippers. Kinda cold in SF this am.
Mary Ann, thanks. I still have dark roots with some gray. I will dread when they start showing, but usually I can cover them up pretty well with this hair style. BTW, they are boots, not slippers.
DeleteLove the boots - all of them! You look great as a blonde Kim! Fashion question...when you where the Born booties, do you where socks? Do you tuck your jeans in or roll them up?
ReplyDeletePenny, it depends on which style jeans I wear. If I wear my skinny leg leggings jeans then they fit right into the boot. I normally do not wear socks with them. They are a cushioned leather inside. I will wear socks with them if I wear long boot cut jeans. If I wear straight leg jeans I roll them up above the top of the boots. Thanks
DeleteI just went and bought the booties - in light gray!
ReplyDeleteOh, good. I have that color, too.
DeleteLOVE the blonder shade, you look amazing!! Love the boots too. I have slippers that look like boots too. I have to keep my feet warm:)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pinky!
DeleteI love all the shoes and your hair looks great! I have a question. Are the Roc products fragrance free? I've always wanted to try them. Have a cozy weekend. We will be getting your rain here in NC tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteDebbie, yes, I believe they are since I have never noticed any smell from them.
DeleteThanks!
Kim,
ReplyDeleteHow cute you look in your selfie!!! Love the lighter blonde hair on you it really shows your pretty eyes.
Love those Toms boots. I love my Uggs for toasty warm feet with no socks but these Toms are cuter. I am going to check them out. Thanks for sharing some of your faves with us.
Kris
Thanks, Kris!
DeleteThe color of your high leather boots is gorgeous! And your hair looks so great, soft and bright!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Laurel!
DeleteFrye boots = love! A favorite brand since high school (back in the horse & buggy days) Love, love, love the new hair color! Jane
ReplyDeleteThese are by Bed Stu not Frye. Very similar. Thanks
DeleteLOVE the blonde hair color!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathleen!
DeleteLovin' the hair!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteCute selfie! I'm in need of some new night cream so I'm going to look for the one you use. It's working beautifully for you!
ReplyDeleteHey Kim,
ReplyDeleteYour new blonde locks, blue and brown boots, and skin creams all suit you beautifully! Thanks for sharing your winter wisdom; looks like I'll need to load up on the last two groups, since we got snow...and cold!
Poppy
Kim, regarding the Tom's boots, do you say they run true to size? I went online to find them and I saw reviews where it said they run small and to size up 1/2 size. Also, love your blog. I live close to you and I do think we could be junking/treasure finding friends except we'd both want the same find! :-) Thanks for your blog. Love following it. I'm about to bite the bullet and get some buffalo checked curtains. Just love some checks!
ReplyDeleteI buy my normal size. In fact some of the classic shoes have run big for me. I have never heard of them running small. Yep, gotta love those checks!
DeleteLove the boots and your hair is adorable!
