When I purchased the farmhouse style striped apron I also bought a cute mason jar in the prettiest jadeite color from the same shop. Not sure why I was attracted to it, but I knew I could use it somewhere.
I used this French monogrammed torchon for some texture and then placed an old large round breadboard as a base.
Yummy red pears sit in an old ironstone bowl with a sweet scalloped edge. You will notice some of the photos have different pears. That's because the mister got into them before I finished taking pictures.
This old breadboard had such pretty patina.
My large white rooster and the jadeite jar finish out the farmhouse style vignette.
Tulips add a touch of spring and it certainly felt like spring weather here today.
I know the cold will be back soon, but at least we had a wee break.
Have a super week!
I've never seen a jadeite Mason jar. It makes a pretty container for those gorgeous tulips. Yes, it is like spring here today. I've been working in my garden. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHi Kimmie and this is so lovely! I love Jadeite and that mason jar is sweet!

I just love the colors of jadeite, aqua and yellow, too. I call them my cottage colors, and collect random things in those colors for my 'someday' cottage. That tabletop vignette, your table and those chairs are right up my alley! I love it.
ReplyDeletelooks pretty. let mister savvy eat those pears, they are good for him.

We had a tiny break today too, and it was glorious! Went to our daughter and SIL's for her birthday. Love your beautiful vignette. I bought some tulips today too (and some roses) but gave the tulips to my neighbor for her birthday and the roses to my daughter:)
