Has the top of your coffee table had the same things on it for a very long time? Then this post is for you. On Monday I shared several ways I have styled my coffee table/ottoman in the past and today I am joining a group of bloggers to show you more ways to easily refresh a room just by changing up your table decor. I shopped my house and storage room, bought some flowers, and in just a few minutes had a whole new look. I believe I am subconciously longing for spring with the touches of spring color I added.
I have had this yellow bowl for years. I mean many many years. I bought it at a local store that was always overpriced at their going out of business sale. I guess no one liked their prices.
I have started to get rid of this bowl several times, but I keep hanging onto it and am glad I did.
The bamboo tray was in my master bedroom, but I brought it back to use on the ottoman. Bamboo just seems to go with spring and summer and has a coastal vibe. I bought some irises and filled a vintage ironstone pitcher. I just love their color.
I pulled one of my antique boxes from the bookcase.
A large brass key adds a bit of bling.
The bowl sits atop a stack of design books.
Can you believe the store I went to was out of tulips. At least these work.
So grab some things from around your house and get a pretty bunch of flowers and you can totally refresh your room with a quick change.
