I was able to get out last Monday and go to an antique mall that I haven't visited in quite some time. I wasn't really looking for anything in particular, but I did happen to find a few things. I thought I would show you some peeks before I show you how they are being used.
Y'all know I collect old quilts and I found a couple at good prices. I love the pastels in this one.
This one of course called out to me as soon as I spied the red. It has many worn spots and the lady at the counter asked me if I was going to use the quilts or craft with them. Use them..... of course.
I shared a peek at this on instagram the other day. This is a wonderful pillow made from a very old German grain sack. The work is impeccable and I will show you more soon.
I bet you were wondering about the title. Well, meet my new cow. This wasn't found at the antique mall, but was delivered this week and it only cost me 90 cents from Joss & Main with my credits. You'll have to wait to see where she hangs.
Have you found any treasures lately?
Have a fabulous weekend!

The quilts are wonderful. You were quite lucky to find them!
ReplyDeleteFun finds, Kim! My latest find was my chippy iron rabbit that is currently staring on my dining room table. I'm having loads of fun with him. Already on the second version of a centerpiece in which he is front and center. '-)
ReplyDeleteEager to see where your new cow painting is hung.
I found a gorgeous Kate Spade purse on clearance. Combined with a small gift card I had, the $400+ handbag only cost me $40. Score!!! I love the quilts and the grain sack pillow is wonderful. I cannot wait to see where you hang your 90 cent cow. She will look great in your home.
