A little over two months ago I shared how I added a pop of color in my master bedroom and now the pop of color has been put away and neutral is the color of the day. The red will probably show up again in the colder seasons. We will see. I'm loving this look now.
This all started because this duvet cover from Restoration Hardware that I have longed for for quite some time was finally on sale. So I ordered it.
It's a beautiful linen and cotton blend and it stays pretty wrinkle free with the added cotton. I hate the way linen wrinkles. The bird pillow cover (old from Pottery Barn) works well with it for my spring look.
I was already using the quilted Euro shams and I brought back my vintage French ticking pillows. The Ikea linen pillows were also already being used.
I carried the colors in the bird pillow on the bed over here to the chair with pillows I had.
My new fun spring shoes.
It's amazing what some paint and a few minutes of time can do.
Enjoy your day!
Good things come to those who wait and that duvet cover is exquisite!....I love the neutral bedroom and how you so beautifully pulled everything together by using what you already had of course with the exception of that exquisite cover....Your bedroom is a gorgeous sanctuary...and love those shoes!

I have done the same thing and it is my post for tomorrow(since my computer was down last night and it took Joe ALL morning to fix it). I love the new cover, well worth the wait. ReplyDeleteI'm suffering from severe bed envy! Everything about yours is amazing! The bedding, the pillows, and the headboard! It looks so comfy and so luxurious. I could either curl up in it, or just stare at it, either way I'd be a happy camper. Where'd you get the mirror above the bed? I love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing!
Love the bedding! I just noticed that you've also enjoyed Savannah and Tybee Island :-) We returned from Tybee just before Easter. Had to get a southern fix!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bedroom Kim! Beyond adding or taking away extra blankets, we've never really had seasonal bedding, but I've always loved the idea!
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful! So calming ~
