Today is normally the Sunday that four of us share French Country style decor and ideas with y'all, but this series has come to an end because Anita, the host, is just a tad bit busy these days and something had to give. Don't worry though it's a very good busy. See, she just wrote her first book and she is busy promoting it! And I am the lucky recipient of a copy to review and share with y'all.
I have been a follower of Anita's blog, Cedar Hill Farmhouse for years. I remember first seeing this image of this gorgeous metal bed covered in French linens and I was wiping away the drool. I was hooked and you will be, too.
This is her cute living room at the farm house. Yes, she is a lucky gal and has two beautiful homes to decorate. One in the country and one in the city.
Isn't this pretty? This is her master bedroom at the farm and when you think it can't get much better....
.....you find this stunner in her new city house.....sigh
When her book arrived the other day I couldn't wait to dig in. Look how pretty the cover is.
What I love about this book is it isn't just filled with pretty photos, but it is a book that teaches how she achieved her style and how you can, too.
She shares how it took her several tries until she got the wall to look right over her bed. It didn't just happen on the first try and I know many of y'all struggle with choices, too.
She shares what items are good to achieve the French farmhouse style
and where to shop for those items.
So if you are like me and love French style or French farmhouse style you will love this book and all the great advice and tips.

ReplyDeleteI took kim was taken with the country setting where the iron bed outdoors filled with grain like linen has always been a lingering foto in my head of Anita's country life, what an old world vibe it has, and a place you just want to lay and listen to the quiet of country sounds.
