Don't you love when you get a special gift in the mail? A gift that is so you and the person who sent it could not have picked anything more perfect.
It's monogrammed 1914.
It's quite tarnished and has rusty handles, but that just adds to the appeal. And it stands at a whopping four and a half inches tall.
For now it has a place of honor in this vignette in the foyer along with some sunflowers I picked up at Costco....

Cute trophy! It's the perfect perching place for a tiny white pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift/find. I suppose we'll be a little tarnished and rusty when we're 100 years old too. Hopefully, someone will find us just as appealing. ;)
