I know Christmas is over, in fact all mine has been put away, but I like to put together a full tour with a few snippets from each post I shared during the month and I'm a bit behind getting this posted. This makes it easy for me in the future to look back at what I did this year. Each link will go to the full post.

See y'all there!
Your home is so beautiful and cheerful. I know it takes a long time to get all the perfect touches to meld together and yours are perfect. We all aspire to have a beautiful, well-put-together home like yours.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet words. Soon I may share the not so put together spots.
DeleteReally nice, Kim. I'm sure your family really enjoyed Christmas at your house.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rita.
DeleteI love seeing your entire home decked out for Christmas, Kim. It's just perfection!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Laurel.
DeleteWow Kim, You already have all your Christmas decor down? I usually leave mine up until January 1 and take it down the next day. This year I decorated in a winter theme so most of the stuff can stay out awhile. I love your Christmas decor! Your home is gorgeous. I reallly love your red furniture in your great room. It adds so much warmth. Enjoy the rest of the season.
ReplyDeleteYes, Sandy I didn't plan to take it down, but I started cleaning up the guest rooms upstairs after the guests left and took the decorations down up there and just kept going. I have taken down on Christmas night before years ago.
DeleteI love all your decor. I think your deck is my favorite this year! Love it! Wish mine was all down and put away. Working a little a time to reorganize and purge this year. Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI have tons to purge, too and will start that soon. Already took bunches to GoodWill this year and more will go there and to consignment stores in 2016.
DeleteReally lovely décor all around!! I especially love your back porch!! Although, I know with all the rain we've have, you probably didn't get to use it as much as you would have liked. Hope you have a Happy New Year and I look forward to your many beautiful posts in 2016 :-)
ReplyDeleteI put all that away expecting cold and then of course nothing but warm rain since. We are standing in water and our pond is over it's bank.
DeleteHi Kim, I love the recap of your decorating! Everything looks so beautiful. My decorations are all put away too. I think I'm going to borrow your hanging tobacco basket idea for my back porch. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGood to know someone else has taken theirs down. Just still away!
DeleteKim, It's such a pleasure to see all the posts in one place like this. We get so busy this time of year, it's easy to miss a few but oh, how lovely your home looks!! It's just festive enough without being overdone and retains the wonderful taste level you employ all year round. I just love it!! I'm resolving this year to spend more time enjoying the blogs that inspired me in the first place to refine my blog to where it's headed. Thanks so much for sharing! Wishing you the very best of the season and the happiest New Year... :-)

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, to you Shannon!
DeleteThanks for the tour of your lovely Christmas décor--it is all very elegant without going over the top.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ruth Anne. I try not to do too much anymore.
DeleteEnjoyed the tour! I was just thinking that your little ones must love to sit on that bench in your breakfast room!
ReplyDeleteJane, they actually sat at the counter and the adults sat at the table, but not on the bench. I put the chairs back. I do like the bench there though. Seem folks don't care to sit on it.
DeleteThank you for sharing your Christmas with us. I always enjoy having a 'sit' and looking at all your decorating ideas. I really like everything you do. You have a wonderful 'touch' in that area. Thank you for sharing with us all. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteOh, how sweet are you, Miriam. Happy New Year to you, too!
